My name is Mark and I am from Scotland .

I found this forum by accident and I like it very much some of your viewpoints I agree with 100% such as abortion but alas not the flat Earth .

I am Roman Catholic and that aint going to change but I would like it that when I post on here instead of unsaved trash you could instead put Rabid Papist or even better Unrepentant Fenian

It is not the King James the 1st Bible you read but the King James the 6th as he was the 6th king james of my country long before he ever became King of England

Welcome Mark.

You have a long way to go before becoming a True Christian. You must accept the King James Bible 1611 is the only True Christian Bible, and read it.

Do you have a lot of skirts to wear?

We are all Christs children Catholic or Protestant I like to take the blood and body of Christ at mass you dont see it that way.

So what we believe in the same God and saviour we just go about worshiping and his majesty in different ways

So you are a cafeteria Christian, i.e. picking the parts of the Bible you want to believe?

You cant be a Cafeteria Christian you are either a Christian or you are not pick and choose is not an option .

I believe in the doctrines of my Church as you believe in the doctrines of yours .

As many of our basic beliefs are the same thats why I am here if I was an American I would be very much for the tea party

I also actually read the Bible when Paul warns us about catholics.

1 Timothy 4:1-3 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1 Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

I don't believe in repeating the hail mary over and over again either.

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

I also don't believe in calling priests father.

Matthew 23:8-9 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

So I have to ask..

Matthew 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

At Christmas time Polish families share a special Christmas bread called opłatek. It looks like a wafer but has a nativity scene stamped into it.


Our family celebrated Baby Jesus' Birthday by eating this treat, but unlike Catolicks we don't turn into grandiloquent cannibals by eating faux flesh and blood

I think I see your problem. You think you serve Christ because your priests tell you that you do.

The only solution for you is to get a copy and actually read it cover to cover. I know how much of a chore that is for you catlickers as you are notoriously lazy in your Bible studies.

Being a Scot, it must be doubly difficult to actually spend money on a Bible. Fortunately, you can find one for free at Bible Gateway.

Christ said to Saint Peter upon this rock I will build my church St peter was the rock and the Church was built and he was the first Pope so every Pope since then is speaking the doctrine of Christ and that is what I believe and worship
