Um, I take it you don't know what that picture is of... You must be quite young.

Don't you even regret that stupid name that your parents gave you?
I like my name. No regrets here - I live in the moment and never look back, so how can I regret anything?

Please, for the sake of my sanity and for the sake of my faith in America, tell me you are younger than 23.

Well thank goodness for that. That image is one of the most famous from the year 2000, seen the world over. Google Elian Gonzalez. When discussing things with people you should have some knowledge of the past. Otherwise you come off as hopelessly ignorant. I'm sure you don't want that.

I mean, really, those of your generation have no excuse. The knowledge of the world is at your fingertips. Everything, all knowledge, is just a click away. Old fogeys like me certainly never had that advantage as youngsters, we had a public library and school textbooks older than the teachers. You should be able to wrap circles around us old folks with your knowledge, but you can't. And that's an absolute waste of the gift we gave you. Yeah, we built the internet, and you use it. And misuse it. Wasting your time on Facebook and crap like that. Your generation has rejected the greatest gift one generation has ever given another: instant access to all man's accumulated knowledge. You should all be ashamed of yourselves..

So true! I wasted so much time in my youth looking up stuff in library index cards, and searching for inconclusive references on microfiche using that silly machine that magnifies those little cards. Back then you actually had to have some research skills to find out what you were looking for.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Give it time, young lady. The path you are on is painfully obvious.

              Luke 16:23-31
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
              II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. But is there anything else I should know that the Bible isn't clear about?

I have always advised against relying on the internet for information. The information on the internet is not reliable, anyone can hack into it and change it. I prefer to use textbooks and library resources anyway.

Thank you for building the internet. It has many fun games
