    Why I posted here

I have been asked to make a thread here, so I will. You can question me here, and Elijahs queries can be contained in his thread.

I'll start by telling you what I am and why I posted here.

Firstly I understand that it can be very easy to be aggressive towards other people with different beliefs, especially with the amount of people that come here with the intention of flaming you all, which I may have been mistaken as.

I am agnostic. It's a part of my reasoning to never tell you you're wrong in what you believe, no matter what it is. I have known about Jesus and Christianity all my life, I have and understanding of your reasoning and don't condemn you for it. You'll notice I spoke as if God exists, that's because that is what you believe and I don't refute it. My point of posting here is your instant condemnation of other's beliefs. Yes, there are those that want to flame you for what you believe, as written in the Bible, but there are others who are very open to others beliefs, and don't judge nor condemn for it. Those people I believe deserve the same in return.

In Elijah's thread I am called (via reputation and posts) a hatemonger, a fool, a queer, a pedophile and crazy. It wasn't and isn't my intention spread or promote hate, nor am I any of those other things.

I'm just saying that differing views don't make you an evil person. I think as long as a person is not insulting your view, then you have no reason call them hateful.

I'm curious because you seem like a semi-intelligent person to some extent.. What made you become a homosexual with a preference towards younger boys?

      Re: Why I posted here

I think you need to understand where we come from. The reason we are intolerant of others' beliefs and readily judge them for it is because the Bible commands us to. We, as True Christians(tm), have a moral duty to keep ourselves separate from the unsaved and to keep our minds clean, so can't you at least understand why we may get outraged when other person comes here spouting off nonsense that can lead you to Hell?

So while, in your own fabricated moral universe, it might be okay to be open-minded to others' beliefs and tolerate them...we are faithful True Christians(tm) and cannot do so. Whether or not you agree with us does not matter, but you can understand why we are how we are.

As I always tell unsaved trash that come here and call us hateful or judgmental, I say "Take it up with God if you have a problem. We're just following the Bible, we didn't write it."

Well you are insulting us. You waltz in here, unsaved, uninvited and unwelcome, spoting off your personal viewpoints in rambling, incomprehensible diatribes, ignoring the Holy Word of God completely....What do you expect? You are being hateful and pushing satan's agenda on God's Favorite Forum!

The Holy Bibe tells us to ignore the unsaved and just pay attention to God's Word.

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds" -- 2 John 1:9-11
        Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

          Jim,

I didn't realize that it was written for you to be intolerant. In fact, I find unfortunate that that is the case. Any way, thanks for being direct and polite. Appreciated.

I do have a question based on your following of the bible... Why is it that you have chosen to accept the bible as the absolute truth? I mean, how do you know the bible is right or not intended to be indirectly interpreted?

First off, it's Rev. Jim. You don't call a judge "Bob", you call him "your honor", and you call an ordained pastor like myself Reverend.

The Bible tells us to read it like it is:

2nd Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

It says what it says. If you start putting your own interpretations in the Bible, you are twisting Scripture. Then you can make it sound like anything you want. Which would make you a false Christian.

That's what I meant, why do you think that is hateful? I hold no malice for choosing your beliefs.

I don't consider myself to be ignoring the holy word. I understand it and see where your interpretation stems from.

You ignore it enough to not even bother capitalizing it.. I think it's safe to assume you ignore it entirely.

There is your mistake. There is no interpretation, just manipulation and jerrymandering. The Bible doesn't say what you want it to say, it says what it says and you FOLLOW. That is one of the reasons why I was called by God to Landover. Landover draws its scripture straight from The KJV1611. Pure, unadulterated, Word of God.

                    Re: Why I posted here

Help me understand, why we lay hatred on people who accept us and understand that we have found our way to believe? We know by ourselves that we believe which will lead us to heaven.

Why we mock people who let us be who we are? Why we mock people who are defending our kind?

Lot of questions but i really want to understand. God haven't give me answer so i'm asking if god have told the reason for all this hatred.
Leviticus 20:13, If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
2nd Chronicles 15:13, That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

                      Re: Why I posted here

I'll be happy to help you understand.

Being against other religions and the like is written in the bible, and is the reason these people know them to be incorrect, and shun them accordingly. The same applies to blacks and homosexuals. It is written in the bible that you are to hate these people as God does, and so True Christians do. They mock people who post here asking for tolerance because it is written in the bible that this is to be done. It has become more understandable to me now.

To build upon my earlier point, part of my posting here was to gain an understanding of your reasoning, so I am better able to understand others actions, and I have succeeded in doing so. So to take upon these

Reverend, if you wish to be called rev. Jim I will call you that. It was my concern that naming you by a title that I have no association with would be interpreted as sarcasm.
