Re: Hello
What type of introduction is that?
You should also include your age, how many children you have, why your name is in spic and what your goal is here. The introduction forum Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

Re: Hello
Forgive me, then I shall...
My name used here is latin (the language all European, and by extent the common language English was based from) Meaning "Open your eyes"
Age: 18
I am not well versed in the bible, I admit to not knowing much of it in such a way that I can recall a "favorite" verse of it.
I have no children.
While it is likely to be reacted to with negative comments to this admittance, I go to no church, and have come to see myself as Agnostic.
As for goal, I can admit no other then interest to learn all walks of life and levels of worship.

Re: Hello
Isn't "spic" a term used for Latino people? Latinos speak Latin! Also, English was not based from Latin but it was taught to us by God. Please do some research before you start appearing crazyOriginally posted by Oculos_aperi View PostForgive me, then I shall...

Re: Hello
Hm, I am not aware to have said "spic", I was not aware of it and I think you were the one who used it first, based on the comment before, regardless.Originally posted by Janine Walker View PostIsn't "spic" a term used for Latino people? Latinos speak Latin!
The interesting thing about the English language is that it is not always what it seems to mean. Latino is speaking more of color then language, and in fact their most commonly spoken language (as far as I am aware) is in fact Spanish. If one were to look at what it sounds like and attach it to what one thinks it mean. Then one would after hearing Vegetarian(eats vegetables), assume the word Humanitarian(in it's most simple form, it means one that believes in the acceptance of every human being for plainly just being another human.) meant a "Carnivore".
Forgive me if I am wrong by your study, but I was lead to assume that the bible was not written originally in English, and it has been noted that the oldest surviving Christian Bibles are Greek manuscripts from the 4th century, along with the time period Jesus was born to and placement, leaves me thinking that the original bible was Greek or Latin originally.Originally posted by Janine Walker View PostEnglish was not based from Latin but it was taught to us by God. That wasn't in the least bit interesting and I have a feeling you need to learn more about Adam and God.The interesting thing about the English language is that it is not always what it seems to mean. It was written in Greek but only because they didn't speak or write English. I'd like you to know the only bible we use is the King James Version Bible from 1611. Anything else is perverted by the works of Satan.
You're welcome.Thank you...

I am saying I do not know what "spic name" means, I have never heard the term used before, so I have no idea if you were right or wrong.
[QUOTE=Janine Walker;678653]That wasn't in the least bit interesting and I have a feeling you need to learn more about Adam and God.[quote]
Hm,
Adam-first human of God, from which Eve was born.
God- A all knowing, all powerful creator, who while is argued by some in older books to have been quite violent and unjust, by the argument of many everything he does is a "just" act. Placing the argument that humans own ideals of justice blind us to true justice.
Correct?

What of the dead sea scrolls? Something that human hands have only recently touched after so long a time, and that are likely to have not been altered, while not English in their current form, would these not be placed as uncorrupted?

Re: Hello
So therefore you can't properly make an educated judgment about Christianity. I mean, I don't know much, if anything about aerodynamics, but I wouldn't have the gall to tell an aerospace engineer he is wrong. So, it would behoove you to be modest and accept the fact that you are ignorant (which there is nothing wrong with!) and learn from us.Originally posted by Oculos_aperi View PostI am not well versed in the bible, I admit to not knowing much of it in such a way that I can recall a "favorite" verse of it.

Oculos, I am, as you can see, only unsaved trash and far below the wisdom of the True Christians here but even I know that those scrolls are evil lies from Satan sent to distract and lead the True Christians astray. The Bible clearly tells us that it is complete and that anyone who tries to add or take anything away from it will be afflicted with plagues and be sent to hell (Revelation 22:18-19)Originally posted by Oculos_aperi View PostWhat of the dead sea scrolls? whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake
which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. - Rev 21:8

Re: Hello
Ignorance not something any human can escape, I agree it is not a bad thing, I admit that I would find the world quite boring if there was nothing left to learn, and only when there is nothing left to learn can ignorance truly be escaped.Originally posted by Rev. Re: Hello
So you're saying I'm going to be ignorant of the Bible in a Christian forum but still try to convince people that I'm an intelligent person who is able to comprehend Christian responses? What type of half-wit are you? Why don't you put down the bong and stop playing video games?Originally posted by Oculos_aperi View PostIgnorance not something any human can escape, I agree it is not a bad thing, I admit that I would find the world quite boring if there was nothing left to learn, and only when there is nothing left to learn can ignorance truly be escaped.
Pick yourself up a King James Version Bible and read every word of it then come back. Only AFTER that you could come back and say we're wrong(it won't happen, I 100% promise you it won't happen.)

Re: Hello
I am against all forms of drugs, and find little interest in video games, please don't assume so harshly, you twist my words, if you believe yourself to know all then do not take it to heart, Ignorance is a state of less knowledge true but that does not place anyone as a "half-wit" it is a word to mean one who is yet to know, not one that will not know. I yet to know the ways of the people of this site, yet you do, so thus you are not ignorant, yet do you know me? You lack knowledge of my existence other then what you have read so far, and true, no reason is made to know of me, but when I say ignorant, I simply say there is more to learn.Originally posted by Janine Walker View PostSo you're saying I'm going to be ignorant of the Bible in a Christian forum but still try to convince people that I'm an intelligent person who is able to comprehend Christian responses? But I have yet to say you are wrong, I have only asked questions.
