oops sorry. my name is john kirk im 23. i turn 24 tomorrow. my parents were atheists, so i never really belonged to a church. i heard all about it in my childhood and thought id check it out. i have a busy schedule and work throughout the week, so i dont have time to go to a physical church. so i thought id use the wonders of technology and find one online, and, well, here i am.

This whole ideal of passing judgement upon races because of their skin is just mind blowing. Racism is one of the most ignorant acts you can comit. Personally, judging a person because of their skin, is just plain and simple ignorant.

We forbid racism here. Maybe you should learn something about US before attacking us and calling us bigots.

That said, Noah cursed the descendants of Ham (his son being Canaan) to be slaves to all the other people. The Bible tells us that Canaan and his descendants populated Africa.

See, I keep hearing about these plagues and such, but I've never seen any evidence EVER. If there's something negative that happens to a person, then it MUST be GOD smiting them, right?

Not necessarily. It may be God allowing them to be smitten.

Are you familiar with the story of Job? Job was God's most loyal human. Satan bet God that he could get Job to turn against Him, because Job only loved God because he had a great life. So, God let Satan kill off Job's livestock, destroy all his wealth, then kill his wife and ten children. Finally, God let Satan smite Job with boils from head to toe. Then, God appeared to Job and lectured him for questioning Him at all!

God won the bet.

God knows everything, and is all-powerful. He knows everything that is happening or will happen, both good and bad. Therefore, He decides whether to allow things to proceed or not.

Tell me, what things has God done (or allowed to happen) to you that make you hate Him so much that you will deny He even exists?

What about if you were gay, then became straight?

As was said, you cannot be gay AND saved. It's one or the other.

Ex-gays can be saved. Gays cannot. God has declared them abominations worthy of death, and of eternal torture in His Lake of Fire.

Is that why you hate God? Are you a homosexual?
