I used to believe in a god, but then I went to school. I found that the more I learned about the world and all things in it, the more I found it hard to believe that there could be a deity responsible for all of this. I come to this conclusion from two sides, it has been made so plainly obvious to me that the world can become what it is now from virtually nothing. The second side is that no one knows what created the universe. One way to see it is that god created the universe, but then what created god. If god has always been aroundcouldnt you just take him out of tge equation and say that the universe has always been around? In summation, I have found by experience that the more you learn and the more you open your mind, the less you have to depend on a single book for all your answers.
Now, the bible is an even more interesting topic. There are tons and tons of scriptures all around the world that different groups of people, just like you, believe to have been sent to them by god and each and every group believes that their "bible" is the true one and their "god" is the one that everyone should worship. You are no different than any other group.
So, before I go, I beg of you, open your minds.
