You cannot expect a text written thousands of years ago by people with limited knowledge of the world to be able to be taken literally with today's knowledge and still be accurate. You mention a verse that says that the earth has corners. Explain then how during a lunar eclipse that the shadow on the moon is curved?

People have travelled in one direction and ended up in the same place that they started. Try it urself. Get on an aeroplane and keep going in one direction, you will end up back in the USA.

So let me get this straight: you consider yourself a Christian, yet you think we shouldn't literally believe in the Flat Earth model as presented in the Bible? What do you believe we should take literally in the Bible? The six-day Creation account? The fact that all people are descended from Adam and Eve? The account of the Flood and Noah's Ark? Jonah getting swallowed by a big fish and living to spread the gospel? The existence of Heaven and Hell as literal places? The existence of angels and demons? Jesus's resurrection? Jesus's existence? The concept of Salvation itself? The very existence of God Himself?

All of these things are presented in the exact same context in the Bible; as literal truths. Once you decide not to believe in one of them literally, you have absolutely no basis for believing in any of them.

Let me draw your attention again to the scripture Mr. Godsgrace posted.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, not just the parts that you like!

The Earth has corners much like this image of a compass does.



The curved shape you see on the moon during a lunar eclipse is the Earth's shadow, and it is due to the fact that the Earth is shaped like a flat disc, much like a coin.

Friend, you seem to be trying really hard to "blend in" with Christians by pretending to be one yourself, but if you truly believe the Bible is not dictated by, or directly inspired by, the good Lord Himself, then you're not actually a Christian at all.

I will have you know that I am a christian. You people need to realise is that it is not a sin to discover, to research the world. There is nothing in to bible that refutes the idea of a spherical earth or that the sun is not made of coal. You need to realise the context that certain verses are written in.

There is definite proof in the bible that the earth is flat. Go to the Creation Science forum and read my explanation of the appropriate verses. Oh, by the way, my explanation is within the context. I even use the Hebrew as it was written and explain why you are wrong. Maybe reading comprehension is not your forte, or you are a mere baby who "knows" he is right without having to learn anything.
