  • Hi.

    Hi everyone.

I've been a Christian since I was born, my father raised me firm and strict to the words of the KJV 1611. Many times I felt the sting of his hand if I spoke out of line or in an unchristian manner.

I'm 19. My favourite verse is Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

    Hi Nick,

    Welcome to God's favorite forum!

It sounds like you had a good Christian father. Good for both of you!
I take my orders from Jesus H. Christ, supernatural born US citizen

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
    Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

      Re: Hi.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I endeavor every day to be true to the bible and all the lessons in it for the betterment of my fellow brothers.

Unfortunately most of the people in my neighbourhood aren't interested in being saved but I hope to help them all one day.

It really depends on how you engage them. Many Christians will try subtle approaches, but they often don't work. You shouldn't whisper but shout it out, so to speak.

          Re: Hi.

I've tried starting a community outreach programme but to no success. My father says that I shouldn't be sad about my failures because every step I take is a step in God's direction.

Even telling them that they will go to hell and be tormented for eternity doesn't do anything. They just laugh it off and go about their heathen ways.

          Do you have any advice?

            Re: Hi.

Hi Nick, interesting name, did your dad think of it one morning?

Failures are something to be ashmaed of. Failing means you did not prepare or think things through before you started. Imagine if Moses was not prepared bringing the ten commandments down the mountain or Noah half assed job building his ark. No,your father is wrong and not a Godly person.

Read your Bible, do not make mistakes. Get with the program.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Nicky, are you a Mary worshiper? How do you figure you've been a Christian since birth?

I'm wondering what church you attend?

                  Re: Hi.

Welcome to the forum, young man. Has your father arranged a wife for you yet? In what ways have you brought glory to the Kingdom of Heaven recently?
                  II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Thankyou. My father hasn't arranged a wife for me yet, we're still looking to find a good Christian virgin around here.

Recently I have been going around high schools to teach people of the sin of masturbation and fornication for any purpose but procreation.

You are young, aren't you, friend? People shouldn't be fornicating for ANY reason, especially not to become unwed children of bastard whelps! No, always remember that "fornication" is a very particular word meaning having unmarried s*x! M*st*rb*tion and fornication are always bad and should always be avoided!
While I know what you mean and it seems you have only the purest intentions, excitable young teenagers who can't keep it in their pants might misunderstand and take it as permission to go under the bleachers and rut like rabid deer in mating season!

Thankyou for correcting me. I'll definitely stop using that word in my speeches from now on. Oh dear. I hope that I haven't been giving everyone the wrong idea about it all.

Welcome, Nick. I would explain to them that they cannot be with God and against Him at the same time. It's impossible. They need to make a choice. Now.

I'll pray for your endeavor to save the young ones.

Please share this Holy Scripture with them:

24No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24
But whosoever shall deny me before men,
him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
                              ~Matt. 10:33
