Hello, everybody.

Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is ReyRik.

The first thing I would like to say is that I am indeed an Atheist. Please do not bash me though, I am not here to fight with anybody, or push my 'religion' on anybody. The reason why I created this account is because I feel that we are in a deep depression ideologically nowadays. Why do you think that is, because I am deeply interested in knowing why.

The next thing I would like to say is that I am a 17 year old male, who is as normal as anybody else. I do not see my fellow man and think that they will burn in Hell for their beliefs. I want everybody to be as happy as they can be in their lives while they live them. If religion brings this, then thats fine with me; however for me, it does not.

I am not saying your beliefs are wrong, but I do not believe they are true, and thats the way it is. Everybody has their own beliefs, and if they think that everyone else's is wrong, then thats their decision. I implore you though, It could not hurt to be more open minded and see that every religion and lack thereof has a humanly purpose to serve, and that purpose is not always God.

Another thing that I would like to point out is all the vitriol coming from this forum. I was hoping that this forum would be a little more serious, actually. When it mentions that Jesus has blocked your account, and that this forum is run by Jesus, (a forum known to have many atheist trolls) is that not mocking Jesus in itself?

I am not trying to be trolly here, I just want legitimate answers from legitimate Christians, and why they do not like people of my ideology.

So, you are a self professed atheist and you come on a Christian site, on a Sunday, Super Bowl Sunday even.

Ah, but we do not hate you at all, we're just stumped as to why you would reject Jesus Christ after all that He has done for you, most notably dying several days for YOUR sins.

It is written numerous times in the Bible, both Old and New Testament and also confirmed by Jesus Christ many times that those who do NOT accept Jesus Christ as their Savior will go to Hell.

So, as Christians, we believe that you will go to Hell. That is inherent to being Christian. The flip side of the coin is that you don't HAVE to go to Hell. That's why we're showing some "tough love" to make clear what the Bible says.

Ironically, you will be in Hell with a LOT of so-called Christians. See my signature for details.

I came on here because there are many people who believe that Atheists are 'scum', or anybody that is not of their faith. It seems odd that a religion that tries to teach us to love is condemning those that don't follow their ways. Why is that? I am not trying to be disparaging.

No, atheists are not scum. Foolish perhaps. God gave us free will, He wants us to choose. He expects most will make the wrong choice.
Now I know you know next to nothing about the Bible and I'll go easy on you but before you make statements about what is in the Bible and what God says, you should actually find out, you'll look less stupid that way. No offense, but it would be like me telling a woman how to clean a kitchen.

For one, I do not sacrifice anything to anybody, and two, in the bible, many people made altars to God in which they sacrificed animals.

Now I am not trying to demean you, but I think that political Conservatives are not Godly at all, yet are just using Christianity as their backdrop because it has many supporters.

Conservatism is in line with the bible and Christianity, of course. It must be that way for them to get the support of the Christian population. They use figures like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin to spread what we Liberals call 'Mis- information', and believe that Fox (Faux) News is should be barely called 'News', for their conservative bias.

We must face the fact that the world is changing, and conservatism (an ideology that favors things to remain the same) will not survive. The only reason they won the November elections is because they were paid by corporate CEOs to cut their taxes for them, and wouldn't disclose where they got the funding from.

You say everybody has a choice, in your and God's eyes. If someone wants to have an abortion, is that not their choice? Or to worship a different God? Or to choose their own president without the rich under the table negotiations? We are a melting pot, and we must respect each other, or no one will survive.

That kind of defeatist attitude is indeed closely associated with the liberal mindset.

In the day of Jesus Christ, Christianity wasn't even a minority religion. See where we are now. Around this time in two years, Sister Palin will be in the White House and make all the laws Biblical. And that includes amending the Constitution so that rejecting Jesus Christ will become illegal.

You are forgetting that in the case of an abortion, there are two parties involved: the mother and the baby. The baby most certainly was not given the choice to consent to being euthanized.

So, similarly, are we encroaching on the freedom of the person who wants to murder you and chop your body into little pieces? After all, it would be the choice of the murderer to murder you......

It appears you do not yet understand that Christians believe in Heaven and work towards getting there. So comfort in THIS world is irrelevant. That is one of the many reasons we WELCOME persecution: it cements our place in Heaven.

Sure, we can pretend for the sake of argument that God does not exist, but we both know that'd be a lie...
