I need guidance..

I'm Grace. I know I am a little young (I am 15) but I didn't know where else to turn. You see, all when I was raised I was taught in the Baptist faith, or so I thought. I've been a good girl, I listen to my father as I am told and know my place. But I have been thinking and I believe that I have been lied to my whole life. I was taught in the beliefs of Saints, Mary ect. And we use this strange smelling stuff during church and read the NIV.
But I have been reading this site for a while now and do not know what to do, I just know that this site has the True Word of God and that I have been led astray. But that is why I am here. I know I should listen to my father but he is the one who has done this to me. I have no family members I can turn to, as they all believe in the same thing.
I am just generally confused with alot of things and need help from people that I may trust.. Please help me..

We have some remarkably knowledgeable Pastors and Reverends here that are skilled in filling young ladies like you with the Holy Spirit. Some of them will be along shortly, introducing you to various study groups.

Sister Lycia is particularly helpful in guiding young women away from the insidious fornication traps of Satan, given her past history. Trust me, she really does know it all when it comes to female frailty and temptations. Pay close attention to what she writes.

No. He says that I do not need to get married or have children and he does not want me too. He also says that this Godly website is of the devil and that I will burn in hell for even so much as reading the information posted here. So he does not know about it. I am worried about what he would do if he heard about my being here. I just feel that I need to be here to hear the truth.

In that case you need to leave immediately since God requires you to obey your husband!

But I do not have a husband. And I do not recall Genesis 3:16 in the Bible that my father gave me..My father has censored my Bible, he says that there are verses that I need pay no attention to or that there are bad parts, so it is full of black lines where he crossed out those parts. I have had the same Bible since I was a very little girl..I thought the lines were weird but he told me not to speak of them and that they don't matter, so I haven't.

I don't think you were raised in the Baptist faith at all. It sounds Roman Catholic. You don't need a pope to lead you, you don't need a priest to confess sins to, and you certainly don't need to pray to Mary.

Sadly, I do not know much at all. My whole life has been at home I have hardly been outside. I only go outside for church and whenever I must. My father does not like it when I go outside so he keeps me inside, busy with cooking and cleaning and reading the Bible that he gave me.
He is a very strict man.

She passed away about a year or so ago. The Lord just found it fit to take her from us, I guess. It's been hard on us. It is just myself and my father and he keeps me very busy.
