My name is Marija.

I'm trying so hard to find God, but all around me, people say that he doesn't exist. My family, my friends, my professors. Even my body goes against me. I have these unnatural desires to look at things like pornography and touch myself. I find myself wanting to look at my female classmates and wanting to touch them.

I try so hard to follow the word of God; I read my Bible every night before I go to bed, even though I have to hide it from my parents, because they'll take it away and burn it.

My grandfather was such a god-fearing Christian, but my family has delineated and become papists and I can't stand it. I think that what they've done is horrible and I think that maybe it's why I'm having such problems now. I even found bestiality pornography on my brother's computer when he loaned it to me so that I could write a paper for my English class! It gave me nightmares for months.

A friend of mine, trying to help me, gave me a book by a person called the Marquis de Sade. I didn't know what I was getting into until I started reading it...and it had these horrible pieces in it that no person should ever be forced to read! I can't believe that they gave it to me!

It sounds like we may be in similar boats....A friend recommended me here to try and find God as well.

I feel the same way as you! Friends, family, my old professors....ridiculing me constantly...

Stay clear of your female classmates....bisexuals and lesbians were rampant where I went to college...that way surely lies damnation. Stay the straight and narrow with men, like me.

I fear my family finding my bible, I rarely even get the chance to read anymore. I just hide it in my pillowcase so they don't find it. Its comforting to know that it's so close by.

I feel that we're very similar. We should seek assistance and maybe...find God together?

Thank you so much for your reply! Your advice is greatly appreciated. But how do I go about avoiding my female classmates? If I suddenly quit being friends with them, they'll wonder what's wrong.

And I'm sorry that you were ridiculed for so long. I think that people have forgotten the way that we're supposed to be; how God wants us to be.

I won't say that anyone here is pathetic or useless or ignorant. We're all entitled to our own ideas and thoughts. However, unlike the lot you, my god, whose name is Nature, the ultimate being, tells me to love without boundaries, without a doubt in my mind comparing my fellow humans, to not judge, even when judged.

Well i think your grossly misinformed as the first christens are Jesus disciples and the Catholics only came years after Christianity started to take true form in roam, so no Catholics found a religion adapted it to suit their ways so they could bind the nation under one faith, meanwhile true Christians were not worshiping Saints but actually still prayed God which is why the catholic church split in two soon after it was formed.

So you know what I don’t think Catholicism is most definitely not to thank for Christianity it’s to blame for idolatry and the murder of thousands of people who didn’t want to believe that aa old man in a funny hat that made up the rules as he went along.
