Hello there, dear forum users. My Screen Name is FaithandHope, but you can call me Paige, if you'd like

I'm a good baptist girl who is kept well disciplined by her husband, and I'm happy to say I've found happiness in the everlasting joy of our lord above. I have 2 sons, aged 4 and 6, their names are Zac and Cody. My husband keeps them in line, and I'm happy to greet him at the door when he comes home from his hard job. I'm hard pressed to find a particular verse that I can hold to in our GOOD BOOK, but the words of our LORD speak true to me.

However, I've had TROUBLE in my life of late.... You see, I've been beginning to have THOUGHTS. I've been thinking that maybe there are other viewpoints than mine in the world, and we should just accept them for what they are.
After all, doesn't our own religion preach love for all who have FAITH in the Lord Christ? What DEMON has stricken me that I should think this way? My Husband beats me, but it's just not enough! How do I purge myself of this taint?!

Help me to find faith in the LORD again, I beg you!

Thank you for your welcome As for our son's names, we had chosen the names before we learnt of that shows terrible existance. It's hard though, because we've already baptised our beautiful boys.....

And yes, my Husband gave me permission to post here, thank you for asking. No decent girl would dare to post here without approval, that would be trespassing on private ground!

They aren't "thoughts." They are demonic exhortations, and you need to stand strong (with your husband's help, of course) because that rascal is doing this CONSTANTLY and he is doing it GLOBALLY and if network television is any indication he is doing it EFFECTIVELY.

Read this, several times:

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." (1 Peter 5:8-9)

Scary stuff! But it's a walk in the park if you stand fast in your FAITH!

There would be no meaning in being 6 thousand million people if God wanted us to be the same. We should be our own selves, to begin with. Looking after the children and respecting your husband can't possibly be enough to make you different from any other woman.
