On a related note, if you feel that you're being persecuted for whatever reason, as a True Christian™ you would be turning the other cheek instead of fighting back (Matthew 5:39). That's not very Christ-like of you to stand up to your persecutors.

If you're not being persecuted, then you're obviously being punished or reprimanded for doing something wrong. Hebrews 12:6 tells us "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth." It's only out of love that you're being chastised. It's very disrespectful of you to reject the love that is being shown you.

If you were repeatedly called Consuelo, Claudia, María, etc. and you were a MAN. The first thing you should do is tell them you are a man so they stop doing that, and I did.
