Good morning! My name is Robbie and I live in south Georgia.
I grew up in a Church of God and by age twelve left it because I could feel the fakeness all around. I stayed out of the buildings until I married at age 23. My wife and I were raised completely different. Me CoG and she, Baptist. Therefore, we compromised and started going to the Church of the Nazarene. Since 1995, we have been burnt by several different buildings. The hypocrisy and evil that exists in some of the so-called "houses of God" today is shameful. Children telling my children (girl, Reagan, aged 12 and boy, Braeden, aged 11) that they can't play with them because we didn't make enough money, money and power cliques, etc. At that point, we stopped associating with these people in those 'buildings'.
Fast forward three years. I have studied the Word more in the past three years than I ever had before. As a result, my eyes have been opened to what God ACTUALLY is trying to teach us, rather than only believing what my parents taught me, their parents taught them, and so on down the line.
When one starts to think for themselves and think outside of ordinary and passed down beliefs, the God will shew you things you could have never conceived of before!
At this point, most of the people I know think that I am "out there" with my beliefs. However, when I sit down with them, I leave them speechless, angry or both! The truth and power of the Word of God truly rocks their world and they do not know how to handle it!
I have been married to my wonderful wife, Hope for almost 16 years now. She does not have a job outside of the home and takes care of my children (not kids) and our home.
Thank you for taking time to read this. I look forward to participating here.
Jhn 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
