No you are being wishy washy and truly empty headed.
Only a fool swims out into the ocean until they are tired as they have to turn around and swim the same distance back. Being they are tired, it is a sure bet they will not make it. Now this is a perfect example of what I was telling you.
Had you heeded advice, you would not drown. I would of told you to swim along the shore first to see how far you could swim before you tired. Then figure out how far into the ocean was the halfway point based on your ability. But you would not want to take my advice. You would rather 'go for it' (as you kids say) and die. I will miss you.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

or maybe I would have the strength to come back, I can't know unless I try. Perhaps the Lord would be with me and I'd make it back...

I think you may be beginning to see, being rebellious just to do it is pointless.
It is another thing entirely if it has serious meaning and you have passion.
My Love of God is one of my passions. To share my views with the world about the purple Majesty of Jesus(tm) is very important to me.

Nope, not entirely. I just had to verbally beat sense into you. See, you needed to realize that people that care about you can be firm for a very good reason.
Last week, I had to slam my wife to the ground. She got a large bruise on her shoulder and a black eye. Sounds like I am a mean person, doesn't it?
That is, until you hear the whole story. She was not paying attention to what she was doing and nearly walked in front of the combine. It would of snipped her legs in half like a toothpick between my fingers. I warned her in the past to stop looking at the clouds and to focus on the job at hand. You would of thought she would of learned abut the dangers of farm equipment after our son, Paul, somehow managed to get his talleywacker caught in the milking machine. A farm is no place to fool around at.

argg verbally beat i would say you convinced that it's clever to think before acting.

I will agree with you that a farm is no place to fool around at,

Had I not acted like I did, she would be dragging herself abut by her arms. She would never be able to get chores done. You need to realize, inaction has consequences. My wife is very happy I hit her out of harms way.

Just like with God, there are parts of the Bible that are not fun and games, some is pretty tough love. But if you want to be Saved(c), you have to follow all of it.

there is a difference between pushing to save another person and slamming the person to the ground ..

who decides whether one is saved?

You think I should of been more worried about a mere bruise and not worried about the removal of a leg? Perhaps next time, I should pause to ponder the result of my action.

A Pastor or Reverend. A congregation too can let you know if you might qualify. But the final Judgement is is up to God. All you can do is follow His Word(r) exactly and hope He picks you come the rapture.
