Obviously Brother Helge as you are a man and also not a servant I would not wish you to come to any harm. Just using you as an example.

It is not about how the person being beaten feels. A loving beating can show them the error of their ways. God says that it is ok to beat. Do you know better than Him?

The following is about maids but as all women must also be servile to men I think it can be used as a guide.

    Exodus 21:20
And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he [is] his money.

So you say that Brother Helge wouldn't last a day being beaten. In which case if he was your servant it would be wrong to beat him to death however if he was still alive after two days then no harm has been done since he was your property and had learned a valuable lesson.

I would not mind if Jesus beat me.

    1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Not in Freehold. Our local ordinances are more in line with God's teachings.

It is never illegal to save a loved one's eternal soul. America is a Christian nation.
