When I said I was only marrying one of them, I was referring to only one of my male friends, not a mormon. Mormon's are scary. And I'm not a foreigner, for the record. I'm studying English as in reading and writing which it seems about half the people on this forum cannot do correctly. American IS English if you would pay attention. There are very few differences between American English and British English, and most of thost are either comma rules or terminology like chips instead of french fries and other such things.

If there are any other assumptions about me, please just let me know so I can set you right. I am a law abiding, Christian girl attending college in Texas (and last I checked, Texas is in the USA), with no foreign heritage that I can trace (though that might be simply because my father knows nothing of his own family past his parents). I am not a Mormon, a Jew, a Catholic, a Wiccan, a Pagan, a Methodist (though there are several of those here at my school *shudder*), a Buddhist, a goth, emo, homosexual, bisexual, gender confused, male, stupid (female does not equal stupid all the time, men. Gullible, yes, silly, yes, stupid, no.), or any other number of things you are likely to assume about me. So, bring on the assumptions, I'm not in a good mood because my Economics teacher is an idiot, and then I came here to find that I was considered a foreigner. I will even post a picture if I must just to prove I am not foreign (though how that will really do anything with how America is these days, I have no clue).

And pardon me while I let slip one vulgarity - don't assume, it makes an a$$ out of you an me. Thanks for putting me in a bad mood, sir, though I'm hoping it wasn't intentional.

Wrong time for it to be PMS, sorry. And Economics is relevant in that I came here from his class, and he doesn't know English very well so I cannot understand him. He is...well, he is what he is.

You should find a modicum of forgiveness for your economics teacher. You see, economy is the saddest science -- the poor devils have been working at it for centuries and still haven't gotten much of anything right. Next time you enter the classroom, peer into the economist's waxy, fishlike eyes...look on his strangely corpselike skin, his defeated mouth, his gnarled and contorted teeth...and realize that inside this human shell lurks the soul of a pistachio nut.

welcome, I am fairly new here, and still under investigation. I have received many infraction points from the moderators, but I understand, as this is the most holy forum on the world wide web.

I am also getting used to Reading the king james 1611 Bible. It is hard because I have been filled with so many lies about the Bible and what it means because I was raised mormon.

I hope you find the fellowship you are looking for.

To be honest, I'm quite shocked to see a supposed "English major" who doesn't know that one does not pluralize with an apostrophe!!

Mormon's WHAT are scary? Mormon's sets of magic underwear are scary? Mormon's many wives are scary? And is Mormon an individual's name in your sentence? If not, then that should be Mormons' sets of magic underwear are scary!

Even English majors don't get everything right about the language - we're just expected to. Everybody makes mistakes, as we should ALL be aware of. And yes, I was rude, because assumptions were made about me and I was in a bad mood. I would think that after all these years I've been alive (which to he completely honest, it hasn't been very long) that people would quit making assumptions and that they would quit teasing me. And if you are calling me a hypocrite, you should look around yourself, here and in reality. Everybody does something hypocritical, usually without realising it. Does that make it okay? Of course not. It just shows that all of us (myself included) have some improving to do before we make our way to our Creator.

And English majors aren't all we're cracked up to me. some o them talk like dis an type like it to (Or, in the actual 'grammatically correct format', Some of them talk like this, and type like it, too.) So, honestly folks, be less assumptious until you actually get to know the person. You don't know a single thing about me outside of what I've posted here, and none of that has led to what I've been called. I might be going a bit overboard, but that is likely because I have remained true to myself and what the Lord wants from me instead of labeling others without due cause.

Now please, can we just get away from all the hypocracy and accuasation flinging? And before anyone says I was being just as bad, actually READ what I said. Besides, as most children will say, "He started it!" Though, who knows who actually started this one.

No, I was called a foreigner because I'm studying English, which is not the truth. If you want to know my opinion, which no one will simply because I'm female, people do NOT seem to be as understanding here as I thought. At least the people who have talked with me. I might be interpereting actions the wrong way, or take the wrong meaning, but when you are called something you are not, it does not make for a nice feeling.

Economics is a required course, no matter what you're studying. And please, cut the sarcasm. everyone makes mistakes, but no one here will ever admit it. And how am I supposed to teach someone that came here from Taiwan? And I never see him outside of class, so that's completely impossible and a moot point. And of course there are negros in our classes, as students, subjects (things they have written and so forth), and teachers. We have a large amount of International students from the Carribean. Sheesh.
