    Introduction: Hello!

    Hello,

    I am from germany.
And I just wanna say that I am an atheist (now probably everyone hates me already). I left the church some months ago. After the rape-scandals in germany (Many pastor raped children).
I dont wanna pay people for raping kids. (church-tax)

I have read some stuff in this forum. And it looks like a lot of people are trapped and wasting their life time to this "religion".

Believe in something so you can make your life easier is a mistake in my opinion. I dont believe in "heaven" or "hell". I dont believe in "good" and "evil". Life is much more complex... every person is different. And why should something happen after we died? The great "NOTHING" is much more probably.

There is (very probably) no "god". And after we die, we dont go into "heaven" or "hell". I guess people are scared from death. So they join a "religion". They dont know what happens after they die. So they clamp on "religions" and believe in things (e.g. Bible), created by people. People using other people to gain power.
In my opinion every religion is bad. Every religion "lies" and every religion thinks of course its right. Every religion tries to grow taller and convince more people to join them. To get more power and controll. Its like a virus.

Of course there is no proof that there is no god.
But there is also no proof that there is a god. (no real proof)

Its like a door. We are all in a room (all the humans). And there is a door and no one knows whats behind that door. There are infinite possibilities whats really behind that door. And the whole religions are just a guessing game.

So there are things we cant explain. But dont worry about it. We need to be able to let go and life with the not knowing everything...
And accept the small reality we have.
(I cut my finger and it hurts)

Its time to free all people from religions. Religions just create fear, hate, anger, pain, suffering and death. Its time to wake up! Its time to free yourself! Its time that everyone starts thinking for themselves!

Now go ahead and insult me, cite the bible...
OR wait until its dark outside and take a walk alone into the nature (e.g. woods). And just enjoy that present moment. Just life in that moment. Inhale and exhale the reality.

    ... think about it!

p.s. yes I know my english is bad...

    Re: Introduction: Hello!

Hello, welcome to our friendly forum.

Do you ever walk into houses as a guest shouting your opinions at whoever will listen? I expect the answer is no (because it is incredibly rude!), and this forum is no different, we are a Christian™ forum run by Christians™, you are our guest. If you don't agree with us, that's not our problem, you will pay for your idiocy soon enough!

Friend, you say there is no proof that there is a GOD, yet we have the ultimate, unnerring, infallible truth; the KJV Bible which says there is.

You say there is no proof that GOD doesn't exist, but there is proof that He does!

Do you see how silly you are being by not turning your life over to Jesus immediately and begging for forgiveness?

    Let us help you
    6
A woman came up to me the other day, 12/6/2016 and said:
"But Mr. Winner, if GOD loves everyone then why is there so much suffering in the world?"

Because GOD doesn't love everyone. Too many people have this absurd idea in their heads that GOD is all loving.
If he was all loving, then murderers, thieves and homosexuals would be waiting for you in Heaven.

GOD doesn't open his gate to just anyone. Being a True Christian™ is like a Queue Jump ticket at Disney, we are guaranteed a ride with JESUS.

You say a Book is a proof for anything?
So Harry Potter is a proof too? So there must be wizzards and stuff like that?
If I write a book its a proof too?
Just because I claim something in a book... thats not a proof at all!

You joined a Christian church's discussion forum just to say this?

Shall we ban you now, or ban you later?

That's nice. Why are you here? This is a Christian church's discussion forum. Nobody here (except your little boyfriend there) cares what you "think".

Why don't you go down the street to your neighborhood church and insult your parents and neighbors for having beliefs different from yours, instead of joining an American church's discussion forum halfway around the world?

Is it because, like all atheists, you're a pathetic, sniveling coward who hasn't the courage to speak up in person, and must snipe at strangers on the other side of the planet from you?

            Yes, I'm guessing that's it.

Why is it all you atheists are so weak and gutless?
            Bible boring? Nonsense!
Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories!
You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

This is a Christian church's discussion forum, not a debate forum.

However, as for the existence of God, we have several hundred thousand pages of discussion on the subject. Try using the Search feature.

Tell me, what part of "Unsaved Unwelcome" did you not comprehend?

                  Re: Introduction: Hello!

Ahhh.. its always nice to see, nice and polite christians.

"Why dont you accept this wonderfull offer, why wouldnt you want to meet Shakespeare for an excample. I dont know if you belive that you can be corporeally reassembled. And have conversations with previous epox. Its not necessarythat you belive that in christian theolegy, and I have to say that it sounds like complete fairytale to me. The only reason I want to meet shakespeare or might even want to is because I can meet him anytime. Because he is immortal in the works he left behind. If you read those, meeting the author would most certainly be a dissapointment. But when Socrates was sentenced to death, for his Philosophical investigations and for blasphemy for challengeing the gods of the city. And he accepted his death. He did say well if we are lucky perhaps I will be able to hold conversations with other great thinkers, philosophers and doubters too.

In other words that the discussion about what is good, what is beautiful what is noble, and what is pure, and what is true, Could always go on. Why is that important? Why would I want to do that? Because thats the conversation worth having. whether it goes on or not after I die I dont know. But I do know that thats the conversation I want to have while im still alive.

Which means to me, that the offer of certainty, the offer of complete security, the offer
of an impermeable faith that cant give away. Is an offer of something not worth having. I want to live mylife taking the risk all the time that I dont know anything like enough yet. That I havent understood enough, that I cant know enough. That im always hungrily
operating on the margeance of a potentially great harvest , of future knowlege and wisdom.
And i wouldnt have it any other way.

And I urge you to look at those who tell you at your age. That you are dead untill you belive as they do what a terible thing to be telling to children. And that you can only live by accepting an absalute authority. Dont think of that as a gift think of it as a poisoned chalice, push it aside however tempting it is. And take the risk of thinking for yourself. Much more happines, truth, beauty, and wisdom, will come to you that way."

                  - Christopher Hitchens - A speech from christopher Hichens.

And then I have a small riddle from a friend of mine called Epicurus.

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"

How about this: you start your own introduction thread and tell us about you instead of spouting a bunch of philosophical nonsense and celebrity vomitus that you don't quite understand.

Christopher Hitchens is going to Hell. You know it, I know it, he knows it. God gave him a Big Gulp of cancer for his heathen ways, and he drank it right down.

                    Your call!

Why are you going outside the KJV Bible anyway? What do Mr. Cancer and Epicurus give you that God can't?

                    NOTHING.

That's not a riddle, idiot. Are all atheists as ignorant as you?

We have discussed and debunked the supposed "problem of evil" hundreds of times on this forum. I see you're too lazy to bother to use the search function before expecting us to spoon-feed you yet again.

                      Here's the short version:

                      Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Omnibenevolence is not a Biblical concept.

Now, go read the rest of the Bible before asking any more stupid questions.
