    Re: Hi

Welcome friend, it is obvious you are far from bright. I commend you on your hoesty, at least you have that.
Let me offer some help to you. Right foot, left foor, right foot, left foot, beathe in, breathe out, repeat a lot right to the nearest Baptist Church. Ask the kind Pastor to introduce you to Jesus. Once you and Jesus have a chat, you can ask Him about the meaning of His birthday celebration. Praise the Glory!

    started a topic Hi

    Hi

    Hi

I grew up going to a dutch reformed church.
Now I often go to a dutch reformed church.
My latest favorite Bible verse is Romans 2.

In the years I was busy with my degree in electronic engineering I had a dream in my sleep.
In my dream the Lord Jesus told me to stay with Telkom (an ICT company in South Africa).
In my first year at university, before the dream, the Lord Jesus gave me a bursary from this company to pay all the fees.

As I’m not very bright, I struggled a lot to pass my university subjects. Then I reached out to the Lord Jesus to help me. My mother always tells me to read the Bible and pray, read the Bible and pray, read the Bible and pray...and that’s what I did but I didn’t really understand/realize what I was reading. One day I decided to read the book of Revelation because I thought that I wanted to read Revelation before I die.
After Revelation, I went backwards through each book of the NT. Then everything started to make sense and I also read a number of books from OT. I recently started with the New Testament again, but this time from front to back (now at Romans).

I would like to know why Landover Baptist Church celebrate christmas. I used the search engin ,but could not find a detailed answer. Any help will be appreciated.
Working...
