    Simple pondering.

I am neither Christian nor Atheist, Hindu nor pagan. Such categorization fail to strike me as important. I believe in giving back, and the logical holistic conclusion that what harm I do unto others, reflects back at me in the indirect way of me creating a world where people harm eachother. I live a happy life as such, and feel no need to draw conclusions of whether there is an absolute entity or not. So as you might have realised, I am not here to praise your god. What I do enjoy, however, is discussions and seeing different perspectives.

So I have a question. As Christians, I would expect you to follow the words of your savior, god and holy son Jesus Christ. Did he not ask us to treat all the same, equally and to take them in as the brothers and sisters we all are?

    Nope.

Welcome nonetheless Friend. Can you tell us how you found Jesus, what church you go to, your favorite pie, etc?
    Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Never did actually read the Bible, did you?

People like you amaze me. You make choices and they are completely uninformed choices.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

Exodus 4:11 And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

If Jesus loved everyone and forgave everyone, then what would be the point in being a good Christian? A horrible person would just be forgiven as well, and that's hardly fair is it? And Hell wouldn't exist!

No, there are plenty of people the LORD doth hate.

A woman came up to me the other day, 12/6/2016 and said:
"But Mr. Winner, if GOD loves everyone then why is there so much suffering in the world?"

Because GOD doesn't love everyone. Too many people have this absurd idea in their heads that GOD is all loving.
If he was all loving, then murderers, thieves and homosexuals would be waiting for you in Heaven.

So both of you practice Christianity in order to satisfy a feeling of superiority over other people not fortunate enough to be blessed with a "good" life instead of "evil", seeing how the lord is responsible for all created evil? If not, what are your reasons?

And James Hutchins seperately; No, I never did read the whole bible, and that's why I'm here. I do not have the will at the moment to read it, although I surely will in the future. As for choices, I make mine based on whatever reason I've been armed with. There is so much information out there that you can only try to draw your own conclusions of what is right and what is wrong.

Firstly, no one 'practices' Christianity. Either you are a True Christian(tm) or you are not.
We are not Christians 'in order to satisfy a feeling a of superiority'. If you feel inferior among us, that is your problem. If you think it is because you could care less about Jesus, then you came the right place. We can open your eyes to the incredible benevolence of God.

........No, I never did read the whole bible.......
See, that is what amazes me. You made up your mind not having all the facts. Would you marry a girl because you have only seen her elbows? Do you buy a car because you like the color? Do you pick a profession because you like the hat?

Going through life and making blind choices is the folly of a fool and you do not appear to be one to me.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

We follow the Bible, the WHOLE Bible, because God told us to, no more, no less. How God decided to bless us or curse us is beyond our control.

(Ephesians 2:8-9) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Until you read the whole KJV Bible, how can you draw any conclusion?

Don't feel bad: we are told almost from day one what's in the Bible, but that information is incomplete and self-serving. Most "preachers" rely on your ignorance and laziness to not explore it any further, and that is how most people are kept in the dark about The Word of God.

Open your mind, open the Bible, and gain Salvation!

Where does it say any of that?

The truth is, God hates plenty of people. That's why most folks are going to hell after they die. God says they richly deserve that fate, and that's why He sent His onlybegotten Son to temporarily die on the cross. FOR MY SINS!

                  Pretty good deal, huh?
