    Hello from Texas

Hello from Texas! My name is Holly, and I attend Broadway Baptist Church. My husband heard about this forum at church and is allowing me to join so I will be exposed to a more Godly influence! I enjoy baking, cleaning, and taking care of my husband, Charles, in every way. Being a good wife to my Charlie and serving God is why I was put on this earth.

    Favorite Bible verse:
"An excellent wife is the crown of her husband,
but she who brings shame is like rottenness in his bones."

    Proverbs 12:4

    Yours in Christ,

    Holly
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Well, hello there ma'am. I don't think you'll ever meet a friendlier bunch on the internets than us at Landover Baptist.

Do tell me; What version of the Bible you are quoting? Here, we value the King James above all others and we quote it almost exclusively.

If you want to link to a particular verse all you have to do is post the chapter:verse-verse. Jesus takes care of linking it for you. Hallelujah!

Do tell, what is your husband's favorite pie you bake him?
Praise and worship with Pastor Will. Services at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Why thank you so much for your friendliness! The area I'm from is full of Godless heathens and it's very refreshing to be around people who share the same views as me and my husband.
Charlie is quite partial to apple and I always have a couple of slices in the refrigerator for him.

              Welcome, lady.

Have you given your husband any sons? There is no better way to serve your husband and the LORD at the same time. Daughters are okay too.

              Psalm 127:3-5
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Tell us, how long have you walked with Christ? Were there dark times before you accepted His kind offer of Redemption?
              II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. No we have not yet been blessed with a child, but we are trying to conceive. I pray everyday for the Lord to give me a baby boy.

I've walked with Christ since I was a child. My parents raised me Baptist. They are false Christians, and do not follow the Bible word for word. I met Charles at 14 and he showed me the RIGHT Christian way. I have begged my parents to follow my example and tried to explain they will burn in hell for all of eternity, but they do not seem to understand.

My husband is a car salesman. He owns his own lot and only sells American models.
I don't travel outside my home without my husband, unless I'm going somewhere Charlie approves of, such as Church or the corner store. There are just so many Godless freaks, and he doesn't want my weak woman mind to be led astray by Satan. He is quite protective of me

Welcome Ma'am. Why does your congregation allow just anyone to play with the Pastors organ pump? Aren't you afraid it will get broken or some heathen will steal parts?

A woman of your age should have five or six sons by now at least. What have you done to anger Jesus? Perhaps it is too much organ play and not enough opening up to accept the love of God.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Welcome friend. Texas must shine brighter now that Godly President Bush has returned. Have you met him?

And again, welcome. Jesus has been waiting for you to find LBC. You will learn much here, as I have.

But whosoever shall deny me before men,
him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
