I was born deaf. I didn't do anything to anger God.

Perhaps your parents or great, great, great grandparents did something? The Ten Commandments do state in

Exodus 20:8 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

You may have had judgment passed on you, but I suspect this will fall upon deaf ears as I don't know how to write sign language.

Don't let these people succeed in their attempts to tell you that you are unworthy and being punished by "god" for some unknown sin, we all have defects, even our Lord and Creator, blessed be his Appendages, but we should not let these get in the way of leading a full life.
