Hi everyone

I'm new to the forums and would just like to introduce myself, my name is James, I'm very new to all of this and was pointed towards these forums by a friend.
I don't favour one particular favorite verse, it all has substance and meaning to me, I found Jesus recently through the help of some friends and it has opened a whole new way of life to me.

I can't wait to absorb what you all have to offer.

I look forward to talking to you all.

Do you take us for fools, young man? You choose a vulgar euphemism for ladybits as your username, and you use a lame cop-out as an excuse to not cite one verse of Scripture that you find meaningful. It is quite apparent to me that you are a hateful God-mocker.

I can only surmise that you have come here to mock us and persecute us for our beliefs. If that is your intention, please know that you only multiply our blessings by doing so.

Don't underestimate the importance of names, young man. I suggest you open your Bible to 1 Samuel 25 and reacquaint yourself with the story of Nabal.

I do not take anyone as a fool, in my eyes we are all equals, my name is not in reference to as you put it "womans lady bits" and I don't think I need to explain my choice of username to you.

I do not think I am copping out by not naming a verse of the bible at all.

I am not here to mock as I share similar beliefs to all here, my intention is to learn here and in time hopefully contribute as I continue my journey with christ.

Yes, you do. This is a forum with a diverse amount of members, some junior members will find your username offensive unless you (obviously) make up some contrived jibberish about it meaning something holy. (Which is not going to happen...)

Yes, you are. One of the very few things asked of you when making an introduction is to give us an example of your faith by telling us one of your favorite passages from the Bible.

Ok if I had to choose a favourite verse then it would be

John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

If my name offends then for that I can only apologise, if it can be changed I would be thankful if someone could tell me how I can do this.

Like I said I do not come to cause offense and I feel bad I have got off to the wrong start here.

Tell me about it. Seriously, I want your opinion. Is it their pitching or their offense that is causing them to lose so many games this early in the season? (Despite being hyped up as one of the best teams in the American League.) I, for one, am rather confused. I'd like a non-American perspective on our national past time here.
