A lot of those Tea Partiers are Libertarians. You're not a Libertarian, are you? They have a lot of dangerous ideas, not the least of which is the notion that the government should be kept out of people's lives. That's just fine as long as the government is controlled by atheists, but I feel a Christian government should certainly be allowed to check and make sure you're not committing sodomy or wearing women's underwear under your clothes.

I am a Tea Party Republican. This means I want the Obama nigra out of office for his big spending and big government, and mostly because he's a Satan worshiping liebral nigra.

Where did you get that idea? You think that people can't have a party without hard drugs?

As for drinking tea, are you a Mormon? Where in the Bible does it say thou shalt not drink tea?

Anyone who does such things must be a liberal.

I am not a Mormon, but the burden of proof is on someone saying that God thinks something is okay. Unless it says "and the Lord said undo them, thou shalt drink the leaves and bags of a plant that intoxicates you", then I think we should be safe and avoid drinking it. We wouldn't want to go to hell for corrupting our temples to the Lord.

Surely a True Christian society would have no need for government of any type? God's Law would prevail, and be carried out by The Priesthood Of All (male) Believers.

Clearly in today's world there are many heathens (e.g. liberals, witches, mass-murderers.. people of that type..) who require governing. But as God tells us in the future history of Revelation, Jesus has already made us perfect, but we do not rule the earth at this stage. If all the heathens were relocated (e.g. to Hell) then there would be no crime.

You are being disingenuous.
Heroin is not a plant.
It is an alkaloid derived from the Opium Poppy. (So are codeine, papaverine and opium, for that matter.)

God said that ALL the plants He created were good, and that they could ALL be consumed.


There was no post-fall revelation from God revising the list of plants that could be consumed.
Now you are saying SOMETHING DIFFERENT therefore the ONUS is on YOU to provide an alternative scripture.


However since you will be unable to do that, I will give a simple example.

• Most plants contain arsenic.
• It is OK to eat the plant.
• It is NOT OK to concentrate out the arsenic and feed it to your spouse, pet or significant other.

What about the leaves of the cannabis plant? Is it okay to chew them? Even exactly as God made them, they have the same effects as smoking cannabis (except the effects caused by smoke). Surely the cannabis plant befouls the temple to the Lord?

For your example to work, the equivalent process would be extracting out the caffeine, transforming it into a complex hydrochloride and then injecting it à la heroin. The point about becoming intoxicated/addicted and pursuing a life of squalor & prostitution has been covered elsewhere. Here is a list and I might refer you to this recent post too.
