  • I am a respectful athiest.

I know, if you're a Christian you're probably already thinking "Respectful and Athiest can never be in the same sentence" but I'd just like you to take this into consideration: We are all human together.
Every single person in the entire world is unique in their own way. Everyone can have their own beliefs.
I'd like to use this thread to say that not all the Christian generalisations about athiests are true.
"And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God." Luke 6:20

If you're so "respectful" then why are you barging in here and contradicting God?

Indeed we are all human, but we choose our fate in the end. The monkey worshipper goes through life mocking God at every turn, regardless of the overwhelming evidence that He is the creator of all. And suffers the appropriate puinishment; eternal torment at the hands of Satan in hell.

The Christian humbles himself and gives thanks to God in all His glory, lives a moral life according to the Holy Bible and is rewarded with eternity in Heaven laughing at the deluded idiots in Hell.

      Decisions have consequences, my friend.

Next, I suspect that you are going to try to convince me that everyone is equal, too.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

          Not True!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Accept Jesus or you will burn in hell my friend.

I have no doubt that you can maintain some modicum of civility on these forums, but how are you to Christians in the REAL world?

            - Ever roll your eyes at a fish emblem on a car?

            - Ever smirk when you see someone saying grace in a restaurant?

            - Ever giggle about the religious guy at work who has a Bible at his desk?

            - Ever think to yourself, Gee, those WWJD bracelets are sooooo tacky?

You don't have to answer to me, friend. You have to answer to God.

            Yours in Christ,

I would hardly describe telling the most powerful being in a universe, a universe that He Himself created, that He does not exist as being respectful.

I am still licking my wounds at the hurtful comments you made about God and His Creation. I am a big man but even I have feelings you know.

Sure they can, Being Christian I can say one plus one equals two. You being a crazy Atheist can say,one plus one equals three. So? Who's right? In this case the Christian is. I can spell "Atheist." Can you? Apparently not which makes you wrong again.

"Respectful atheist" is like "joo nazi" isn't it? Like "employed coon" or "well-groomed hippie" or "gay Christians" and so on.

                    In other words, impossible.

How about the generalization that atheists are too stupid to spell "atheist" correctly?

You seem to be a living example of that stereotype.

Do tell, Katmandu, how exactly would a drunken jig find his way onto my sofa in order to be seduced by a parrot in the first place?
