Welcome to this forum! I am so happy to see that Jesus entered your life when you read the Bible. You are a witness that God's word alone changes people.

From your introduction I get the impression that you have come to know God quite recently. If so, then you might find the "spiritual food" they serve on this forum a bit too "rich" to digest properly. Don't get disappointed with God if that happens, instead study the Bible and come back later when you are ready for it.

1 Corinthians 13:11 "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."

I can really recommend a cell group for learning more about the Bible, how a christian life should work in practice, and to get support from other people.

Thanks for your welcome, pastor.

I'm afraid I don't attend any church at this time. As I said I got back to he path only recently, about 8 months ago. My redemption came from the Holy Book alone, in the moment of great illness.

Problem is that I see so many churches here in NY as with little or no faith. Also I am afraid of bad guidance at this moment of my life. That makes me reluctant.
