  • Greetings

    Hello everyone,
my name is Matthew and I am here to learn a bit about your approach to Jesus and religion. But before asking questions first let me introduce myself: I am quite young (although adult since some time ago) Christian from Europe. I work as a scientist - robotics and signal processing to be exact.
Regarding my favourite Bible verse: 1 Corinthians 13

A Baptist church - it's partly a reason that I am here It's a really small one, only in my town actually. My country is rather catholic one, so it's not very popular.

Thanks for advice, I will. But I also hope for some quality discussion here

        Welcome, young man.

I am a True Scientist™ myself in the discipline of Applied Theophysics. I look forward to discussions of all things science and, as an expert in CB radio, am also quite familiar with signal processing.

        May Christ be with you.
Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

I apologize for my ignorance but could you give me some information what Applied Theophysics exactly is?
Are also familiar with amateur radio? I always wanted to give it a try but haven't got time nor experience to do so. I would be grateful if you could give me advice some other time

Thank you for your warm welcome

Matt, I would stay away from 'ham radio'.
            Psalm 78:51
And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:

Instead, smiply get on your knees and and pray
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Who would've known, in my version it's spelled "Cham". Curious indeed.

I'd rather do it as an addition to everything that I do

No wonder you are so confused. You need to get a KJV1611 Bible, right this minute. Scoot!

It's quite simple, my friend. For every action, there is God. Secular atheist "science" makes it appear far more complicated than it is with conjecture, guessing games and twenty dollar words. In the end, if we are honest with ourselves, God is behind every aspect of the physical world, in His omniscient and omnipresent glory. And He explains it all in His Word. Praise Him!

Are also familiar with amateur radio? I always wanted to give it a try but haven't got time nor experience to do so. I would be grateful if you could give me advice some other time
I wish I could help, but as a busy professional man, I simply have no time for activities of the amateur.

Thank you for your warm welcome.
                  My pleasure.

                  In Christ
