Re: New believer from England
I have read the bible many times, it is the only book I read and follow, but nowhere in it have I read about retards, I want to be part of your Church and reside in Freehold, but how can I do this if I feel not welcome, I beg for forgiveness and pray to our Lord to guide me on the straight and narrow.

Re: New believer from England
So, you cherry-pick a verse that deals with Jeremiah's lamentations of his pagan-leaning joo church elders in a ham-fisted attempt to slur a True Christian™ Pastor of Landover Baptist because he rightfully called you a retard?Originally posted by JETHRO BALFAZAR SR View PostThis says it all
Jeremiah 10:21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
THAT says it all.

You need to do two things: (a) take an objective look at yourself and (b) read the Bible, cover-to-cover, no interruptions except to take care of basic needs.
Yours in Christ,
Z. Smyth

My father(God rest his sole) was not banished from Iowa, he was a good boy and his parents were proud of him and his belief in Jesus, they were behind him 100% when he made the decision to travel the world looking for fellow Christians, he often returned back to Iowa to visit my grandparents.Originally posted by James Hutchins View PostWelcome friend. Tell me, why was your father banished from Iowa? What crimes did he commit? You are lucky that what ever he did were not serious else the brits would of banished him to austria with all the other criminals.

Hi Talitha,Originally posted by Talitha View PostWelcome to our Godly Forums, Jethro.
Is Balfazar really a British name?
We have a few Ex-Brits here, and once we got them to visit a Dentist, taught them to speak properly and trained them to spell God with a CAPITAL "G" they are none the worse for ever being British.
No Balfazar is in fact not a british name, apparantly according to my grandfather hundreds of years ago distant relations from Mongolia infiltrated north America and settled as a community and that is where the name comes from, my father was American as I said earlier and this was a family name passed from generations ago.
I was the same we never went to the dentist, my father used to hold me down and scrub my teeth with a stick and salt, I have my mother to thank for making me less british she removed the plum from my throat and the stick from my rectum.

Re: New believer from England
There are a lot of men who treat there wives badly – yes, even here in Freehold, there are those men who treat their wives as near equals, listen to their advice, allow them to braid their hair, put up with their nagging, let them chatter in church, or walk around with hair uncovered, etc. It is the ruination of the whole family and then they come to us pastors looking for help in saving the souls of their sons… It’s very sad.

Hello,Originally posted by Ezekiel Bathfire View PostDid not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, and he was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did foreign women cause to sin. Neh 13:26-27
Your father must have been a fine man to resist sinning at the hands of a foreign temptress.
Unfourtunately my father did fall into the arms of a foreign temptress- my mother, but she knew her place and was able to bear the children my father deserved, he treated her badly as revenge for that first night of damnation, but I forgive him as if he had not succumbed I would not be here to follow my faith.

Hi,Originally posted by Brother Helge View PostHello Jethro!
Welcome to our friendly forum!
Tell us more about how you came to find Jesus and please share some scripture with us!
I found Jesus as he was looking for me, our paths crossed and he spent much time looking in to the deep dark corners of my soul, at times I felt my time was near slipping into the whirlpool of dispair, but Jesus our saviour retreived me from the brink of no return, from falling into that burning pit of homosexuality.
Alas I am here elated by Jesus's love back on the Lords path of tranquility.
