Welcome, friend. Congratulations on remaining faithful in a land of godmockers and heathen catlickers. Your choice of Florida is an excellent one. Outside of Mississippi, Florida is the place with the most sanity and Christian love. Except it's full of darky Cubans. They are to be avoided at all costs.

At least the scriptural misunderstanding has been cleared up. I've never known anyone whose favorite scripture was "(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)"

Oops yes I must have missed out the 1
I have already ordered a copy of the KJV from Amazon, I should get it soon (my current Bible does not even state what version it is)

    Hello Slixor,

A minor point, but your quote is actually from 1 John 4:8, and the KJV of it would be:

"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."

    Yours in Christ,

Believe it or not, the English here do believe in Jesus as well, but they do not dedicate their entire lives to religion like He intended us to do so. Many people claim to be Christians but some don't even own Bibles! How wrong is that?

Welcome, Slixor! What can you tell us about your home planet? Do they worship Jesus in the star system from whence you came?

Praise Jesus! Trapped in a filthy tooth-impaired place like England, you were still able to reach out to the Lord's Internet Web Network and find us. When do you plan to be saved in God's Chosen Nation? How old are your sons? When do you plan to send them to the U.S. to be saved? Please let me know how I can help!
    Please.

Welcome to the friendliest and Godliest forums around!

Hello there. A friend linked me to a thread on the forums about Portal 2 and how it encourages anal sex and having sex with yourselves. I began to read the thread and I pretty much agreed with all that was said there! I took a look at the rest of the forum, and I decided to register.

I attend the Biggleswade Baptist Church in England, http://www.bbchurch.org.uk/ and I go there twice every Sunday.

I do not know why my parents decided to move to England, I have asked them and they won't tell me. My grandparents live in Florida, and we visit them every year for Thanksgiving.

    Hello from Slixor

Hi. My name is Slixor. It's about time I introduced myself.

I'm now twenty-six years old, and I found Jesus. Since, my life has been great, I now have a purpose. I go to church every Sunday, and I love it. My favourite verse is John 4:8 (Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.)

But I did not always be this way. I used to be unconvinced, but once when I was just twelve years old I was help up at gunpoint as a hostage in a shop robbery, and I prayed to God. I prayed to be let go, to be freed. And suddenly, He talked to me. I could not hear His voice literally, but I knew exactly what He was telling me. And moments later, I was thrown to the ground, and the man was arrested. Ever since, I've learned to love Jesus and I read the Bible regularly.

I was born in England and I have lived in England my entire life, but both my parents were born in America and lived in America until they married, and they moved here. Religion is scarce here in England, I try my best to encourage others to visit church more often, to no avail unfortunately.

And that's it about me, for today. I noticed you have a very nice community here, and you encourage Christianity in the same ways I do. I take the Holy Bible literally, as everything inside it is true, and that is the way it is meant to be read. Thank you for reading.
