I was NOT born gay. I was not born sitting in my parents house and staring at Santiago, our yard boy, a yard boy with smile that lit up all of San Diego. It was Satan that tempted me to stand close to him in the garage, Satan that made me try to kiss him, Satan that led my hands. My Heavenly father stepped in and prevented any unseemly acts by causing Santiago to push me back and flee the garage and my Earthly father protected me and fired Santiago when I mentioned to him that some tools were missing from the garage. (I found them a few days later, praise Jesus!).

Satan is relentless, however, and led me to a string of full sexual liaisons, but then my father sent me to a camp for boys so possessed. This camp, filled with other teenagers such as myself, who lusted after other boys and found themselves away from home, was the perfect place to cure homosexuality. We filled our lonliness with Jesus. Through prayer, we removed the Devil from our hearts in the name of Christ. Now I don't do those nasty things. How can I be gay if i I do not have sex with men?

As for "what's wrong with being an atheist?", well that's just a silly question. Whosoever does not accept Jesus as his personal savior goes to Hell. See John 3:16.

Fortunately, we know better. Through Christ all things are possible. We can become born again, rid our lives of sin, and become new creatures through Christ Jesus. Sinners can be free from sin. We all know this because we see it every day. We live it in our own lives.

I truly feel sorry for our friend Zen Hacker, that he doesn't know the true joy and freedom that can be had by being saved.

Zen, I'm going to level with you. I know that the Holy Spirit led you to our forum for a reason. He wants you to know that you no longer have to be a slave to sin. You can be free. Doesn't that sound nice? No more waking up all hungover with some ugly harlot in your bed that you're wondering how to get rid of, and worrying about what you might have caught from her. No more waiting in line at the check-cashing place on Friday afternoon so you can spend your whole week's wages on drugs.

Imagine a life where you are doing an honest day's work for honest pay, living in a house with a good Christian wife, raising up a brood of youngin's to be fine upstanding Christians, and living your life in celebration of the One who gave you your life. That sounds a lot better, doesn't it?

You have to want it. You have to recognize that you are a worthless sinner, like we all once were. You have to be ready to repent of your sin, and live your life without it. Then you have to believe that Jesus died so that you can be forgiven of your sins, and accept him as your savior. Once you do that, everything will fall into place. You will be a brand new man.

Can you do that? Are you ready?
