Hello there!

My name is Christine and I'm just a consrevative gal stuck in a city of liberals . I'm coming to expect that I might be the one and only Republican in the whole darn city. Currently I'm a "church hopper" because I can't find one that suits my beliefs just right yet. I'm insanely old fashioned and I like to embody femininity to a T. I'm happy to say that I only wear skirts and dresses, never go out without makeup and make cakes and pies that would blow your mind. I hear this forum can be pretty judgemental but I've got nothing to hide!

I don't have any kids yet but there is time for I am still quite young (17). As for my all time favorite bible verse...hmmm.....so many great nes to choose! I would have to go with Matthew 6:33 because it really focuses on not only speaking the words of the Bible but acutally believing and more importantly LIVING the word.

Silly me- that was Joshua 1:8 I was refrencing. I have a list of my all time faves here next to my computer that I need to re-write more neatly . Luckily with the Bible you really can't go wrong picking a verse. I'd also have to add Proverbs 3:5-3:7 as well as John 14:6 (a little cliche but a classic nonetheless)

Thank you! I personally find it most fulfilling to praise Jesus through my actions especially through acts of helping others and encouraging them to lead a riteous life. School is out here where I live so I've been very occupied ensuring that my friends are having a fun (but not too fun) summer vacation (i.e. keeping them away from the temptations of smoking pot, getting drunk and sexual encounters they are sure to regret later). I stand firm in my morals unfortunatly living a Godly life dosen't come so easy to many others in my life . If I had a penny for every time I had to thwart my boyfriend's "advances" I would have a million dollars by now....which would go to my church of course!

Thank you both for the warm welcomes! I don't know why people speak so negitavly about such a nice forum. I'm trying to get up some more recent pictures of me. My avatar picture is nearly a year old- I look generally the same but with much longer hair now.

Welcome! You sound like you have your head on straight. You might want to take a hard look at your church-hopping. I'm afraid this has led to the demise of many souls who attend the liberal happy-clapper, fluffy-bunny variety of so-called 'churches.' So many false Christians don't want to truly commit to the disciplines required by God. They are lazy and worldly, stiff-necked and willful. They want to gamble, drink, fornicate with anything that draws breath and some things that don't - and seek a place that give's God's blessing to it.

You sound like you're at least looking on the right side of God. Are you looking for a place that preaches God's Word, or to find a church that happens to agree with your human 'needs'? If you can't move to Freehold, find a Godly Baptist church and truly listen and learn.

well, i heard that Seattle was a depressin town on account of all the rain and what not? i even heard y'all all's most famous resident, Kurt Corbin shot his self to help cope with all his success?

shoot, it rains sometimes here in Tennessee, but i aint gonna squander God's precious gift of life over some damp weather!

well, that's God's honest truth! I love home cookin'! Especially 'round the holidays? A local favorite recipe of mine is my famous Easter Yeast Cakes, made with my very own yeast! the trick is, every year leadin up to easter, I give up one of my favorite creature comforts -- bath night? well, as you can imagine, without that weekly soakin, the organic accumulates within my fleshfolds really begin to cultivate a life of they own. in fact, i could feel the yeast churnin within my folds in a specific pattern? by gum, i coulda sworn they was tryin to communicate with me! well, this past easter sunday couldn't have come soon enough, cause i think that dern yeast had evolved a sort of telepathy, and was speakin to me through my mind? makin my dreams powerful sureal! well, this years easter yeast cakes was the best ever, since them organic accumulates had developed a higher inteligence? shoot, eatin em might even made me smarter!

Depression is a major issue here in Seattle however knowing Jesus is a better anti-depressant than anything a psychiatrist can perscribe . I consider all this rain God's gift to the pacific northwest (if only it could drive out some of these darn hippie liberals ).

I could talk for days about pie! My signature recipe that everyone seems to love is peach-rhubarb and with peaches coming back into season I'll be making plenty of it. I will have to whip one up and buy new camera batteries so I can start a "pie album".
