So many false Christians don't want to truly commit to the disciplines required by God. They are lazy and worldly, stiff-necked and willful. They want to gamble, drink, fornicate with anything that draws breath and some things that don't - and seek a place that give's God's blessing to it.

You sound like you're at least looking on the right side of God. Are you looking for a place that preaches God's Word, or to find a church that happens to agree with your human 'needs'? If you can't move to Freehold, find a Godly Baptist church and truly listen and learn.

Just a friendly suggestion. Enjoy your stay!
Yes, the church situation where I live is difficult- "fluffy bunny" is the name of the game here in Seattle . I'm looking for a church that preaches and follows the true word of God- not some pastor's interpretation of it. Unfortunatly, a lot of "churches" (if you can call them that) preach things that are actually against the Bible. I've actually seen churches around that welcome gays! I think that if the un-riteous want to hear the true word and change their un-godly ways I will be happy to welcome them however I'm not on board with accepting gays into church if they do not want to overcome their gayness.

I have an adequate church at the moment although the under 25 crowd tends to stray from the fundamentalist foundations of the Bible. Generally I try to associate with the adults who have their heads on straight.

Ugh, tell me about it! My house is practically sandwiched between a Unitarian church on one side and an Episcopal one on the other side. I figure that the whole West coast would be doomed to hell if good, true Christians like us didn't stick around to fight the Godly fight.

I myself love our neighbor to the South- I'm actually going on a trip to Oregon in a week . I think that the miles of beautiful coasts and spectacular natural scenery is God's way of compensating for the hippie infestation we have to endure .

I would love to stay home but the trip cannot be avoided . I assure you though, I am going in order to attend a traditional Christian wedding with only Godly folk.
