    Hello everyone

    Hello everyone.

My name is Sarah, it is a delight to find this forum with true Christians. My husband strictly regulates the webpages on the internet I am allowed to visit. Until now all forums were prohibited, lest their members had a bad influence on me. But this one met with his approval.

I used to be a sinfull woman, before I found Christ. It is hard to believe it has only been two years since I met the man who showed me the way to Jesus. He was from America, only in Europe for a short time. But when he witnessed our atheist culture he decided to stay and try and save us. I was one of the first he saved.
He married me and not long after I was blessed with a son. I am now pregnant with a second child. I hope it will be a daughter.

You might be wondering about my chosen forum name. It is a play on words my husband likes to use. Before I found Christ I was a very sinfull and misbehaved woman. Now that I'm changed I am much better behaved. The nickname however is there to remind me of what I was before and warn me to keep on the right path.

I chose not to use a picture of myself as my avatar. Living in this Godless Europe I feel judged by all the atheists that surround me. I would not feel safe if they knew I was a member on these forums.
Therefor I chose a drawing of a woman whose resemblance to me is quite remarkable.

      Hello Shela,
I'm from the Netherlands. Most churches here are either catholic or reformed, so they're not suitable for a true Christian.
My husband and I therefor created a special corner in our home for praying and reading the bible. Sometimes we invite friends to join us and my husband gives a small sermon.

What's with all the Europeans joining recently?

Anyway, welcome to the forum Sarah

What's your favorite type of casserole to cook?

What Bible verses do you repeat to yourself while knitting sweaters for your baby-on-the-way?

          Re: Hello everyone

          Thank you, New Creation.

I love spending time in the kitchen. I usually cook typical home-made food, but never boring. Luckily my husband likes almost everything, so I can cook many different meals. His favourite dish is at the same time the one I like preparing the most. It's an oven-roasted meatloaf with hot cherries in caramel and baked potatoes.

I don't just repeat phrases to myself when I'm knitting. I don't know if my baby-on-the-way can hear me, but just in case I utter them aloud so he might hear them too.
          Some of them are:
proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
proverbs 6:20 My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching.
exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

That sounds delicious. You'll have to give my wife the recipe, although my favorite remains a simple rabbit casserole with green beans.

I'd be happy to write down the recipe.
I love rabbit myself, but hubby prefers meat that has a bit more chew to it.

Absolutely Reverend. I consider it some of the tastiest game on the planet, up there with squirrel and venison. I'm not too fond of bear though. My uncle once killed a bear and had it made into sausage. Bear sausage might sound good, but trust me- it isn't

I'm quite partial to Sister Daisy Mae's rabbit casserole.
