Good morning or afternoon to you all.
I have discovered this forum purely by chance, through a link somebody sent me. Actually I thought it was a joke, since the thead I fell on was about comparing Anne Frank to Adolf Hitler. I will not discuss the quality of information gathered and judged in the mention thread, it's not the purpose here.
I felt extremely curious about the member of this forum and what could drive them to believe what they believe. I see this as an experience.
I was born in a catholic family in France, was baptised and had all the sacres we consider as standard. Yet further in my life I had some experiences, met people, read a lot and thought about my spiritual nature, and I was driven away from the chatholic dogma. I made the choice not to follow the trail my parents put me on, a trail they were put on more for geographic and family context reasons than spiritual awareness.
So I think most of people from your forum will consider me as a sinner, and I fully accept this judgement, since in your dogma, I present all characteristics of the sinner.
I have other beliefs, which are purely mine, and I clearly don't have the arrogance of making you change your mind about yours (nor do I have the will to do it), I just need to understand what makes an integrist believer who he is.
I hope our difference of history, opinions and purpose will not put too much limitations in our discussions which promis to be quite ... agitated!
After all, the moto of this forum is "Unsaved Welcome", so don't ban me yet.
Talk to you very soon.
Good day.

Trump / Arpaio 2016 -- The Government We Deserve

. Of course we have people (just like in any other country) not really keen on hygene, but I think this clichée about France is now quite an overstatement since...more than a century.
