Ok Christians, I'll have an open mind, why should I be christian?

Hi Landover Baptist church, some of you may reconize me as the infamous fallenangel15, "enemy of god" You have told me to repent from my Pagan, lesbian ways and become a christian. Well, why? Give me reasons why I should give up my freedom and follow gods will. Seriously, Please don't say stuff like you will go to hell if you don't, because I don't care about going to hell much. But give me real reasons why I should follow Christ and I will keep an open mind and not be cynical. You keep telling me to embrace god, well here's your chance to convert me.

So you really don't think burning forever is a problem? Really? I'm guessing you're so young you don't really believe you're mortal. You think your life will go on forever and forever. Sorry, wrong. It ends a lot sooner than you or anyone thinks it will.

But if you think burning forever is cool and nothing to worry about, test your own belief. Heat up some vegetable oil on your stove until it's bubbling. Then pour it over yourself. Fun? I'm thinking not so much. And Hell is a billion times a billion times worse than that. And it never ends. Ever.

But hey, your choice.

When you buy a microwave do you perhaps use it to play football, throwing it around or kicking it for a field goal? Yes, you could use it for that, you might even get some enjoyment out of it, but it is obviously not how it should be used: the user manual written by the creator and designer of the machine clearly states you should use it to heat food and beverages, and explains how to maintain it for the best performance and the longest life, so you may enjoy the appliance as good as possible, after all the designer and creator knows best.

God designed and created us, and He gave us a User Manual, telling us exactly how you should use the life and body you're given by Him, and how to maintain it for the longest and most joyful life. You could use it differently, and like with the microwave you might get some enjoyment out of it, but that is not even close to the enjoyment you could get by living your life correctly. And most importantly, both with the microwave as well as with your life you should look at the warnings, put metal in the microwave and you might destroy it, damage the shielding and you will harm anyone looking into it, likewise misusing your body will result either in damage to your body (AIDS) or to its surroundings (entire cities, e.g. Sodom, have been destroyed because people acted like you do).

Please don't play football with your microwave, and please don't abuse your body, it's not as their respective creators intended and they know best. Read the Bible so you may get the best and longest use out of your body, with care and attention to act properly your life will even be eternal.

I don't want to see you cast into the everlasting furnace like a broken microwave into the garbage incinerator, and neither do you if you really think about the consequences. God wants to love you girl, please let Him love you by accepting His Son as your Savior.

Thank you for not being rude to me as many on this site are and thank you for being sincere. What you have said makes some sense, but i am still not entirely convinced about being christian.

I'm afraid you're a lost cause. You have repeatedly rejected Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior, and you do the will of your father satan (John 8:43-44) by coming to our private church forum to promote the radical gay agenda. It is clear to me that you are preordained to eternal torments in the lake of fire with satan and his minions, and the Holy Spirit has told me as much when my family and I prayed for your Salvation™ last week.

God's ways are a mystery in many cases. But when we can't understand His purposes, we may yet still rejoice in His promises. One thing that is made clear in Scripture is that God creates wicked people on purpose, preordained unto condemnation.

Psalm 58:3

You are mistaken if you think the others here are not sincere, everyone here wants to see you saved as much as I do, but we know time is short, God may strike you dead any moment, it is important to shock you into really thinking about the choices you've made in your life, before you are smote.

My polite response obviously wasn't enough, so I'll be a bit more direct now, please don't consider me rude, but rather desperate.

In my previous post I referred to Sodom. I'll tell you a bit about it: Sodom was a city in which nearly none of the people were righteous, almost all were grievous sinners; God obviously had to do something about it, and He did, He sent some angels to investigate, if they found 10 righteous people the city would not be destroyed, otherwise it faced destruction. The angels found only one righteous man with his wife and his two daughters. Despite homosexual rape attempts on the angels the four were evacuated and the city was wiped from the earth, all for the lack of a few good Christian people.

As you can see 1 or 2 people can and do make a difference! Are you really so evil that you would force God to destroy the city you live in and kill all your friends, family, colleagues and all the nameless faces you pass every day, just to satisfy your sinful and unnatural lusts? It are your actions that make God have to kill, will you not stop being evil so God can be nice to us all?
