        Re: Why you have chosen your path?

        I have choosen this path, because of my wife.
        I met her at her parents' shop, we started going out and she asked me to join her to church every sunday!

        At first, I was an Atheïst.
        But thanks to GOD, touching me through my girl (at first i couldn't or wouldn't want to feel his touch)
        I am very thankfull GOD gave me a chance to prove it's never too late.
        I now feel accepted in GOD, in my prayers, i see the proof all the time!

            That warms the cockles of my heart.

            It takes some time to get used to the touch of God, but you get used to it after a while.

            It becomes so natural to you, that you even forget it's happening.

              I don't see why you keep referring to Eskimoes.
              All i know is GOD loves everyone, including some Eskimoes which you may refer to.

              Point is, i do not wish to be disrespected by you.
              Because, now, all you got is prejudice, but you do not know my real person and my story.
              GOD doesn't like that!

                  Pastor Ezekiel is never disrespectful. His only fault is that he cares too much about saving souls. Do not faint if you are rebuked by him. Be joyful that he cares so much about your immortal soul to rebuke you.

                  Hebrews 12:6-8 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
                  But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

                      I'll give you an example: someone tells me there is no such thing as unicorns. I tell them, of course there are unicorns!

                      (Isaiah 34:7) "And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness."

                          Correct, but ask yourself to whom Paul is writing. It's only the believers at Ephesus. That's not to say that we shouldn't treat one another like that within our own group of believers.

                          If anything, you'll find in Landover Baptist the closest most loving group ever amongst ourselves.

                          But as for others...

                          Matthew 10:14-15 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

                          2 John 1:10-11 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
                          For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

                          2 Timothy 4:1-2 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
                          Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove*, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

                            2 Timothy 4:1-2 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
                            Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove*, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

                              What made me become a Christian? Because God said so.

                              Here I am, occupying a tiny speck of space, born into sin, existing for a relative microsecond. The Creator of everything takes time out of His busy eternal day to invite and command me to believe and obey. Is there really a choice?

                              I'll bet if no one was looking and Lady GaGa or some other slut knocked on your door and said through those pouty lips, pretty please, pull down your britches and lets get busy, you wouldn't hesitate. But if the LORD asks for your obedience, you hesitate, research, dither, argue, whine, evaluate, doubt, ask your friends, go online to a place like this, go church-shopping for years or decades. Don't you think you owe God a tiny bit more than you do Lady GaGa?
