"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."
If you were my daughter I'd lay on a good Christian beating each and every day until you stopped being satan's whore and accepted Jesus instead.

I don't think spanking would stop anything, only start it.

Nice avoidance. Have you considered a career in politics?

Actually, never mind that for now. Why are you here?

What avoidance? Someone asked if it was a "proper baptist church" and I pointed out that it was Northridge Baptist. An answer to a question.

My dear girl you sound as if you might be capable of procreating. Can you provide samples of your DNA for scientific study ?

By "proper Baptist church", he meant:

              1) Do they only use the KJV?
              2) Do they allow women preachers?
              3) Are they strict Bible literalists? (flat earth, geocentric universe, demons, dragons, and unicorns are real, etc.)

Just because it's got "baptist church" on the front is no guarantee.

Actually, never mind that for now. Why are you here?
              Uh, yeah, that. Still.

No, it isn't. If I renamed my cat "Juan Carlos," would that make him the King of Spain? Lots of "churches" have "Baptist" in their names and yet espouse heretical doctrines.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Dear, if you'd bother to rub two brain cells together you would see that Jesus was talking about your priorities during your short time on earth. Your central allegiance must be to Him, not your earthly sinful family relations. People like you read the first thing they find disagreeable on the surface and throw up their hands as a reason to justify their wickedness.
Leviticus 13:44 He is a leprous man, he is UNCLEAN: the priest shall pronounce him utterly UNCLEAN; his plague is in his head.

2 Kings 6:25 And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver.

                    Uh, yeah, that. Still.
I personally am comfortable only in Baptist Churches where the plain women and children sit in the back rows, assuming there is room left. Freehold has strict, well enforced community codes regarding this.
You'll never see riff raff in the parking lot next to the Church or in the building (of course). The women and children are kept silent and watched over by Booby-Joe's Security Ushers. Only the attractive and pleasing people sit in the front rows. It all makes for a very nice religious environment. To ensure no misunderstanding, everyone (even cripples, if they stay in their vans) in Freehold is able to attend live sermons, Those not able to attend inside the Church building get to watch it live (not taped) in the pay parking lot across the street on the JumboTron.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Lets see, Northridge Baptist was (and assuming still is):
                        *King James Bible only
*Women not allowed to teach or wear pants, and only allowed to wear skirts below their knee
*has an image of a white god and a white jesus
                        *Biblical literalists
*has the belief that all secular science and medicine is from satan, and therefore completely and utterly wrong
*has the belief that the more money you give to the church and the pastors, the better your chances of going to heaven...

Yea, I guess it's a "real" baptist church...
