I have an admission to make: I did indeed lie in my above post. The truth is, I have no children, despite being married for almost three years now. My husband is at his wits end and I feel I am a horrible mother and wife and have failed in my most important duty to create new soldiers for Our Savior. I lied to hide my shame; now, looking back, it seems I overcompensated. Lying is never righteous and is always a reason for damnation. I am so terribly sorry and I repent to Our Lord. I swear that I have never meant any wrong and I offer this apology with a vulnerable heart.

No, he is away visiting his family and will not return for three more days. Should I phone him? I'm afraid I won't be strong enough to tell him my sins, and he won't be able to administer punishment until he returns anyhow.
I lied also about the pie, I'm afraid -- my husband loves pie in all shapes and forms, but I know little about baking and all of my attempts have ended in failure. I feel like a terrible wife.Comment
