Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sam Warnin. I was raised Methodist. I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior, however, I do not currently attend a particular church, because I always end up feeling that something is missing, or that many of the people are not genuine.

My favorite verse from the King James version is Psalm 1:1.

I hope that you will teach me about your beliefs.

Really? I would be interested if you could explain this in more detail. I never wonder whether the people who are in my church are genuine, or not. As long as they're about praising Jesus and lowering taxes, that's genuine enough for me.

It seems that many of the people I have met in different churches seem to be less about praising Jesus and more about praising themselves.

Well, I'm 47 years old, sixteen years of military service...currently pursuing a degree in communications. I am looking for a church that preaches the truth. I was raised by a Christian family; however, I really came to find Jesus while I was in Iraq in 2003. I was baptized, there, by the chaplain.
