My name is Alan, and I am searching for a religion, one of my religious friends has directed me here, So I will begin my search for a religion, I am not married, but I have a love Interest.

You are not said anything about God saying either of the top two ones.
And to be honest, If they were so bad why would you bother telling them about god, and the punishments lucifer would deal upon them for being Homosexual?
And people say that god loves everyone, In practically every single religion that is related to the bible, I am sure that the majority opinion of love and hate prevails over that small quote.

I'm not sure who said that, Alan, but sadly it's someone who hasn't actually read the Bible.

Now, I know how difficult it is to read a bunch of verses when you are just starting out in Christianity, but just scan the ones I'm about to post, and you'll see what I mean:

First off, I don't know much about most of Bible-Based religion, If you had read my first post in my thread, You'd have realized I didn't even read the bible.
Meaning that most Bible-Based religion probably meant god loves everyone who isn't a sinner, Not that god loves everyone that IS a sinner.

Yes, there are people who say the OT is outdated, so let's take a look at what it says in the New Testament about the Old Testament.


James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

2nd Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness


Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Now, this is just a sampling of verses in the New Testament that say the entire Bible must be followed. I know how hard it is to read a bunch of verses when starting out, believe me I had that problem before I became a Christian, but if you want more from the NT on this subject I'll be happy to provide. Or on any other subject for that matter.
