actually the bible itself talks about how salvation is by grace and good works is not enough for salvation. so those not saved, can still do good works. There are a wide number of non religious charities and aid organizations. If you're looking for morality, i'd steer clear from the bible.

the Bible advocates rape, genocide, incest, slavery, etc etc etc. The list goes on.
