So apparently there's an introduction thread you should make before posting.
Oops. Oh well, better late than never.
My purpose in joining is going to be part of analytic blog, sort of like an informative poll on current world events, I'm trying to see how does one's faith steer one's view of events?
Here's probably what you'd like to know:
I'm not "trolling", mean or here to make fun of anyone. Ever. If someone ever get's upset, I'll apologize, it's the right thing to do.
Anywho, more about myself/project
I need people's opinions on current world events, thus making this forum amazingly convenient for my Baptist Church statistics. I'm going to later gather all of my data from different ethnicities and religions turn it into a site and present it to my Ethics teacher for my end of year assignment, basically landing my credits. So this is pretty important to me.
I'm not going to argue against anyone in the forum so feel free to state your opinion! That's what I'm looking for. I'll keep an update of my site when I start it if you need any proof.
About myself, I'm unmarried/ no children
I find history extremely interesting, especially religion. I was in a musical production of Jesus Christ Super Star, I figured you'd like to know.

Tl;dr?
I'm nice, not a troll, and happy to start my big project with the baptist church.

1st question:
What are some goals that as a True Christian you'd like to achieve in the near future?

Actually, this is partly for my acceptance to a CEJEP, which is the equivalent of a college in Quebec, except CEJEP is mandatory for anyone who wishes to go on to university or lots of other post-secondary education.
I do plan to find most of my information on already made polls, so don't worry about spamming. Besides it does make it easier for me.
I'm also definitely not here to mock anyone, or their religious views. I really do try to be respectful.

Actually, this is partly for my acceptance to a CEJEP, which is the equivalent of a college in Quebec, except CEJEP is mandatory for anyone who wishes to go on to university or lots of other post-secondary education.

I've only lived in Quebec for a few years, otherwise I lived in Ottawa really close to the American border, so I don't have a Canadian accent.
As far as I know, my mother named me named me after her favorite book of poetry in Highschool

Great! My first question is on obesity. Do you feel it's wrong for big chain corporations to sell food so unhealthy, especially to children? Lot's of times it leads to diseases and death, so who's to blame, the companies selling it, the people who chose to eat it, or both?

Here I was trusting you and then you show yourself to be attempting to deceive us with falsehoods! It's not CEJEP it's CEGEP (Collège d'enseignement général et professionnel). Please don't try to say it was a simple typo since you wrote it twice and the 'j' and 'g' keys aren't next to each other.
