Perhaps he wants us to make sure we actually read the Bible and think about it critically. Perhaps he doesn't want it to be an instruction manual.

Once again this is all based entirely on your own opinion. All of it. You just dreamed it up because it's how you feel. That means you're just making God up in your own image and if everyone is free to do that then there are billions of Gods in everyone's hearts so why have a God at all? Everyone is just following their conscience and may as well be secular. You may as well be a foul atheist!

This does not explain the Bible and why God felt the need to tell us all exactly how He felt to thwart false prophets such as you.

No you can't. I believe every word of the Bible, just like every TRUE Christian(tm). Name one verse that I don't follow. I don't wear mixed fibers. I sold my daughter into marriage against her will. I don't associate with non-Christians except to proselytize. I follow the Bible to the letter. You, on the other hand, obey only those parts that you are comfortable with as a modern secular moralist. The rest you write off as a mysterious metaphor. And you can't even justify yourself to us.
