By the way how is my avatar a satanic symbol? It is known world-wide as the symbol for peace...which is what I am all about.

I am entitled to the right to defend myself just as you are. And if you'll notice from that link you posted you were the one to strike out with mean remarks first.Originally posted by Yeshua bar Yusuf View PostI don't know why we should expect anything but lies from the mouth of a monkey worshiping, former bead jiggling harlot.

So you were raised Catholic and you felt out of place because you never felt a connection to Jesus, even though you wanted to. Have I got that right so far?Originally posted by peaceandlove420 View PostWhile growing up, I attended Sunday School classes all the way through graduating high school and ever since I was young I just felt strange going to Mass. I felt disconnected to everyone there. I saw in their faces that they truly believed in Christ and I could never make that connection even though I wanted to.
I still attend Mass with my parents whenever I go back home to visit them because they are devout Christians but I always feel like a hypocrite being there since I do not believe in what they believe but they expect me to attend with them so I obey while I am there.
Your Pastor also stated "calm and reasonable folks who are capable of rational discussion" are welcome. I have yet to be mean or outrightly hateful towards anyone. I am genuinely interested in what you and all others of all religious affiliation or non have to say.

You have done nothing but "mouth off" about how I am wrong as well so obviously you have no respect to speak of as well...Originally posted by Redeemed Papist View PostYou've no respect for it whatsoever. You've just come in here and mouthed off about how we're wrong from the outset and flaunted your adultery in our faces.
And you can't even see how that is persecuting us.
I do not understand how a grown person can be so close-minded...at least I am considerate enough to respect what you have to say regardless of my alleged "adultery." And speaking of which, how have I been an adultress? I have NEVER been unfaithful to anyone in any sense of the word, including friends, family, and my boyfriend.

This is not a debate forum. The purpose of this site is to praise and glorify the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a place for Christians to fellowship and worship. The goal of the Landover Baptist Church forum is to draw people to Jesus Christ because Scripture confirms that salvation comes only through Him.
Luke 6:22 tells us that because we preach the True doctrine of Jesus, men shall hate us and call us evil. So naturally, we expect that folks will get their feathers ruffled by some of the things they have to say, and they will come on here to argue with us. Perhaps we have said something that upset you. Maybe it was something I said. If so, then I am sorry that you are upset, but I do not apologize for what I have said. My words and thoughts come from the Holy Scriptures. I didn't write the Bible -- God did. So if my words upset you, then you don't have a problem with me -- you have a problem with God.
Perhaps you should have read that thread before making such a silly girl of yourself.

I was originally raised as a Christian but never felt comfortable living a religious lifestyle.
I have nothing against Christianity personally... I believe any and all forms of religious faith are irrational.
I do believe in what I can see and I do not believe in believing something out of blind faith. I believe in the PROVEN fact of Evolution.
I do not like to slander anyone for their beliefs but I will speak up if I see a moral fallacy in them.

Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faithOriginally posted by peaceandlove420 View PostMy father is fully aware of my living arrangements and approves. He is a good Christian man and he raised me well. He never once has laid a hand upon me because he morally believes it to be wrong to hit a child much less a girl. I am far from a so-called "harlot" and find promiscuity morally repugnant. Just because my beliefs are different fom yours there is no need to judge another person so harshly.
Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
This is why you should take sound rebuke from those who know more of God's will than you.
Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
Sadly some parents allow their children to go to Hell. It's not too late to close your legs for Jesus and repent until you are married and wanting to have babies for God.

Why do you hate your family so much? You should be married and breeding sons for Jesus, not fornicating and bringing shame to your poor father. Perhaps he didn't beat you enough as a child and that's not your fault but you're a grown woman now and should have had the sense to align yourself with a man who can properly guide your thoughts and correct you when your feelings lead you astray rather than lusting after you as you play the harlot.
I have read your so-called study and believe it to be pure hogwash. Show me the empirical data and results from the actual study reports.Originally posted by Brother Harold Porter View PostYou are a sassy one. I'll have you know that marijuana is proven to cause homosexuality, largely due to phytoestrogens that eliminate testosterone in other wise healthy young men. Please read my study here.
We plan a similar research project for female subjects in the near future, but it will likely be moot when we find that the Devil's weed also causes lesbanianism.
Please read ALL of our threads and posts here. A wealth of information for the sinful.
In Christ
There is absolutely NO WAY one can contract AIDS through marijuana. It is either contracted by sodomy or shooting up and I highly doubt your "true christians" engage in drug abuse.
You say marijuana causes you to "lower your inhibitions and self-control..." Well guess what? So does drinking alcohol and I've read some threads by your "True Christian" brothers that shows they partake heartily in getting soused and "lowering their inhibitions..."
