Re: Hello, I'm new
I'll choose my friends ecxactly as I have always done. And if they are homosexuals so be it. I'm not affraid of my future or what ever will happen when I'm dead!
By the way, I might be wrong, doesn't the bible say something like: "women should not speak in public!" Well things change, and I'm glad they do, I'm happy to change with them.

You see the Holy Bible tells us that homers (those "without natural affection") and their supporters (those "that have pleasure in them") are "worthy of death." Romans 1:31-32
Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
So unless you'd like to follow your queer pals down to the pits of hell (where they'll be tortured forever and ever amen), I would strongly suggest that you pick your friends more carefully.

Sorry for insulting you, sorry for trying to have a dialog. I was not aware that it was such a taboo, for an non - believer to change opinions with you chosen ones. I believe I have a lot of potential to actually evolve, just a bit. But I can clearly hear that you are better of without development, since you are hanging on to the Bible. The Bible are based on words written down and passed on through the last 5000 thousand years. Well that's non development! So if you want to live in your world of make believes you're free to do so. It must be much more comfortable than dealing with the real world. Keep living in your narrow-minded, intolerant world, where your are not capable of have one single thought made up by your self. I had hoped to be met with a little more curiosity, but it seems your better off padding each other on your backs reciting passages from the Bible, so that your uncertainty can be approved by other people who are just as insecure as yourself. Take care, I'm not sure that GOD have time to do it all of the time.Originally posted by Zechariah Smyth View PostSee, if we were at whatjacobbelieves.net that would have some legitimacy insofar as being germane to the implicit goals of said website. Did you mention that I will burn forever!Originally posted by Redeemed Papist View PostWe're not here to argue. We're here to tell you what God wants you to do or you will burn forever. If you don't like that then you are, of course, free to burn forever.
How else are we to know what God wants us to do so we don't burn forever if we don't follow what it says in the Bible?
It doesn't matter what you do that sounds nice to you by moral standards you made up inside your own head. If you don't follow God's laws you will burn forever.
Have I warned you about burning forever enough to make any difference to you? being a True Christian is about pleasing God by following the teachings of Jesus so He doesn't burn you forever, you see.
There can be no fellowship between you and a True Christian. Lots of fake Christians will lie to you and tell you you are a good person because they want you to like them. They are, however, lying. Every single one of them knows in their heart of hearts that unless you change your mind before you die and follow God's commandments from that point on you will burn in hell for all eternity. Not a single one of them thinks you are right and they secretly hope you will stop being as you are and want you to change. Of course, a great many of them are also going to Hell because of, among other things, having anything to do with you socially when they know you are an unbeliever and generally not really believing in God anyway but making up their own God instead.
Frankly it doesn't really bother me, since I still don't believe in that stuff. So I'll peacefully await my burning forever and ever. Seems you didn't do a very good job on your mission to probably find a new member to your weird society! Have a nice life, I'm glad for you that you'll not burn forever, as your obviously one of GOD's chosen few! Praise the lord!

Ok so you have to quote the bible. But still, I can not feel the person behind it. It's just reciting from a book, and to me it's not really arguments. Why do you need the bible or God to tell you what to do or how to live? If you're a rational human being, you're able to make healthy judgements without the bible. I concider myself a nice guy, willing to do the best I can for my family, friends and people in general. But you're right, I don't pray, I rarely go to church, does that make me a bad person and is that the only way into heaven? If heaven really do excist?

Re: Rational mind?
I forgot to commend on this. You say, that you never express opinions, you're simply just stating facts. Well to me that's not a fact, since I'm not totally convinced that the Bible are true from the start till the end. But I can see that it's very convenient to hide behind the words of the Bible, whenever life doesn't make sence.Originally posted by MitzaLizalor View Post

Alright, creation might be the wrong word. But the beginning of time, to me is related to the big bang theory, and that's our disagreement. I believe in Darwin's theory on evolution and you believe in the words of GOD.Originally posted by MitzaLizalor View PostYES

Now why would God say that if it were not true?
The Bible teaches us more about what that means:

Re: Hello, I'm new
By associating with queers you are giving your tacit approval of their deathstyle, which God considers an abomination (Lev. 18:22, etc.).
I really can't state it more clearly than the two Bible verses I provided for you above. If you cannot glean their meaning I must consider the possibility that you are being intentionally obstinate for the sake of argument (I pray that isn't the case).

But did he say that you can't associate with homosexuals, or was he refering to sex between people of the same sex? I'm by the way happily married to my wife. So for me it's pure friendship with my homosexual friends.

It's not up to me (or anyone, for that matter) to tell you who to associate with: I was simply telling you what God said via Scripture. Re: Rational mind?
First, we probably see the creation from different viewpoints. I don't believe that GOD made this world and everything in it. I'm not saying you're wrong, but we have different oppinions on the matter.Originally posted by MitzaLizalor View PostHow can anybody make "healthy judgements" without considering what God, who made us and made the world and everything in it, has to say on the subject? And especially: how can you make a rational decision about GOD when you DISREGARD everything He says? You can't. That's like saying I'm going to make a “rational decision” on the subject of potatoes - but excluding all information about vegetables.
Second. I'm not talking on rational dicisions about GOD, I'm talking about rational dicisions in everyday life. I make lots of dicisions everyday that I concider rational, I believe you do to. But are my decisions irrational since I don't bring GOD into the equation?
