What's stopping you? Go to your nearest Baptist church, become a member of the congregation, and follow every last word the pastor says and eventually a male congregant will take you under his wing and instruct you on how to be a True Christian(tm) girl, and eventual (maybe) a True Christian(tm) wife if you measure up.

I unfortunately have no male guidance at the moment, which is what led me to this site, My Grandfather died a few years ago and all my uncles are either Atheists or JW's like my parents. As well as my brother being a disgusting homosexual, I am hoping one day to move out of godless england, to escape to a true christian state.

Stick to the King James version as you'll quickly see that other translations aren't accurate and water down the word of God. Start at Genesis and move on.

The elders in my congregation, and the governing body are scared of losing control which is why we are as people say 'not allowed to think'
I'm here because I'd like a better understanding of true christian belief not a Jehovah's Witness understanding.

Seriously, do not listen to preachers who often twist it to their own agenda. Read the actual Bible of King James and you will quickly come to understand who God is and what He wants from us. There's no great trick to it. Your eyes will be opened in very short order.
