Well, I don't know about theology, after all I am just a woman myself, but I look at God's Word in the book of Deuteronomy and I don't see anything about him being a believer or being a good man or even being in love with you. I do see something about him paying your father, but not about that other stuff. There's no need to be greedy.

I hate not yet, but I would like to, I want to make sure we can continue to get along. The father of my child is an unbeliever. I was told I should not marry a man who is an unbeliever. Which is a shame. I have witnessed to him many times. Although he is a good guy, I want a Godly man.

Honey, have you married him? That is the responsible thing to do. As a self-proclaimed Christian woman, surely you want to honor God in this trial by following His will:

If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. (Deuteronomy 22:28-29)

Surely the father of your child will pay your own father his due.
