    Hello

I am a 20 year old American male.

I was raised in the religion of Hellenismos, but lately I've begun to have serious doubts about it. Please don't judge me, it's just the religion I was raised in, and it's the one I know the best. But after spending a few weeks reading the stuff on here I've begun to feel like your faith is the right one.

Hello Charles. And have you had the chance to read our God's Holy Word? It sounds like the Lord is trying to call your name, I strongly urge you to read through the whole Bible and completely open yourself up to the word of God.

You have a long hard journey ahead of you, but should you choose to make the right choice and let Jesus into your heart, you would be amazed at how your life can turn out. Unsaved trash and all other religious cults and atrocities will burn in Hell come the day of Judgement, If you are hearing the call to your new life right now, praise Jesus.

I have started reading it but I am unfortunately not very far. Is there a specific bible you would recommend? I am currently reading the New International Version.

And I know it will be hard, but I'm willing to learn.

        Re: Hello

We use the one true Bible here, the King James Version 1611. I urge to you to find one of those Bible's as it hasn't been perverted with euphemisms and other "interpretations" that other Bible's may try to through in there.

Alright, I will go buy one tomorrow. And I just have one question. How is it different from the other Bibles?

I urge you to take some time to read Pastor Ezekiel's explanation as to why the KJV is the only Bible that Jesus loves:

                  Hi, Charles!

You have to explain to me how it is an American, raised for 20 years in a Christian nation, surrounded on all sides by Christians, can know the obscure (and relatively new, since the late 1990s, of greatest interest in the US among those who found Wicca particularly lame and irrelevant) Hellenic Polytheistic Reconstructionism better than Christianity.

I just don't see how it's possible for this to happen. Were you raised in a commune of Greek expatriates and home-schooled, and forbidden access to television or radio or libraries or people from outside your commune? Or maybe just kept in a kennel?

Or did you just join this wee group and think you'd pretend it was big?

In the US, the Hellenic polytheist organization Hellenion[11] also identifies its practices as "Hellenic Pagan Reconstructionism" and emphasizes historical accuracy in its mission statement.[12] Additionally, the group uses the term "Hellenismos" (Ἑλληνισμός, Hellēnismós) to describe the religion. Hellenion does not provide official membership numbers to the public, but an unofficial estimate of 43 members can be determined for 2007,[13] though this number can only give the roughest approximation, as Hellenion offers hardship waivers to those who cannot afford the typical membership fees.[14] In early 2010, the organization reported 1 demoi (fully chartered local congregation) and 6 proto-demoi (start-up congregations not fully chartered with less than 3 members) established, which offer rituals and other events for members and frequently for the public as well.[15] Two of the six proto-demoi cannot be independently verified to exist. Hellenion offers legal clergy training,[16] basic adult religious education classes,[17] and other educational/training courses for its members.[18]
                  Bible boring? Nonsense!

No, I'm not a witch. I grew up worshiping a group of gods, it's not really witchcraft.

Well, my family has followed this religion for years and I guess I felt like I had to follow that way. I didn't pay much attention to anything Christian because I thought it was rubbish. But when I started reading up on it when I was writing a paper on religion it seemed more believable then Hellenismos.

No, no. I just didn't really believe things about any of the other religions.

No, I know that is quite small in America (It's a little larger in the rest of the world, but not by much.)
