My name is Nyneve Pen, and I am nineteen years old. I am unmarried and live with my family. I attend Fist Southern Baptist Church with my father and mother ever Sunday. My favorite bible quote is, A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones (Proverbs 12:4). I was born and raised in a Baptist family. I have permission from my family to post and discuss on this forum. I wished to join to have a safe and holy place in this otherwise disgusting thing called "the internet".

Re: I do have permission.
Welcome young lady! But is there a disfigurement or malady that prevents the attraction of a Christian man? At nineteen, I would expect a good brood of young soldiers for Jesus, sired by a man of God.
Proverbs is indeed one of my favorite books in God's Word, but it reads much better in the proper King James original edition of 1611: "A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: But she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones." We encourage the use of the authentic version here. Anything else is dangerous heresy.
In ChristMatthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

Re: I do have permission.
No, sir, I do not have any malady or disfigurement. My mother is very ill, and her daily chores are more than she can handle by herself. As a daughter, my father told me, it is my duty to make sure the house is flawless, his dinner is on the table, and my mother is taken care of. It is the least I can do, as he feeds, houses and guides me in my religious studies. It is at my father's discretion as to when I can marry, and I fully respect and honor his decision.
Thank you, sir, you are, of course, correct. Proverbs reads much better in the proper text! I will, from now on, make sure I copy directly from my KJV instead of rely on memory. Thank you so much for your guidance.
YIC,
NyneveProverbs 12:4 "A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: But she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones."

I have one question (for now) ... 'We are clean living people. We are not at all interested in a 'Fist'. No wonder you are unmarried!Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I'm am very sorry, Mary Etheldreda, it was not my intention to flirt with any one. I am not used to speaking with men, aside from my father and pastor. Any instruction would be welcome, if you have the time.
I would not presume to post myself in the Christian Singles forum without guidance from a pastor and my father but thank you for the advice! Thank you, also, for the welcome.

Re: I do have permission.
My father's favorite pie is cherry, sir. Therefore, it's the one I make the best. However, he is also fond of strawberry and blueberry, which I am satisfactory at making as well.
Thank you for your welcome, sir. I am finding this forum to be helpful and Godly!
