    Hello!

My name is David. I am most definitely a piece of 'unsaved trash'. Until recently, I didn't follow the Lord's word literally.

Deuteronomy 22 11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

Leviticus 19 19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon thee.

I've recently burned all of my clothing made of mixed fabrics. I was tempted to donate them to good will, but I could not in good conscious contribute to damning another soul to hell.

Please offer me guidance in serving the Lord more completely!
    Exodus 21:20-21

20And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. 21Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

      Why would you do that?

The Bible says nothing about fabric blends, outside of linen/woolen.

        Re: Hello!

On this one, I have to agree with Lord's Word. I have all of my pilot suits custom made out of 100% Iowa cotton.

It costs a bit more, and they need almost constant ironing to keep them from wrinkling, but when you think about it, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

The bible is pretty clear about this issue as I cited. Do you were garments of diver sorts?!

Ah, I understand your point now. I still must suggest that in Deuteronomy 22 11, wool and linen are but an example of two fabrics mix together. ",as of" suggest this. I would rather not take my chances, although I see your point. It says very clearly "Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts".

Surely you're not suggesting you have a better understanding of God's Word than Rev. Rodimer?

Absolutely not! I am merely looking for clarification. As you and I both know, its very easy to end up in hell.
